I've had a few typical issues over the years but nothing that wasn't handled promptly and to my satisfaction. Okay US Bank, I gotta take a star away for 2 things. First, increase the limit on how much I can deposit from my phone. I've been with you for years! I've earned the trust! And second, the touch screen ATM at the Vista location straight up SUCKS. The screen is not intuitive or sensitive so when you attempt to make your selection on this sucky "touch screen", nothing registers because it doesn't recognize any sort of touch. And worse, the keypad is so limited on selections that you can't use it as a backup. So you're forced to send up a prayer to the ATM spirits that the screen will be kind and recognize my angry finger is jabbing it. And I can't possibly be the only person who has issues because when I'm in line, listening to music and watching the driver in front of me attempt to navigate the touch screen, I've heard (and seen) some pretty humorous things. Please fix your touch screen so it actually recognizes a touch!

At this Chase Bank location, (I am elderly and disabled) the door is always opened for me by a Chase employee when I arrive. I am always greeted at the door, asked what I need, asked if I need water, directed to what I need, satisfactorily helped, and then always told good-bye by name at the door and to have a good day. The business is clean. No one here has lied to me, that I know of. They have always put in writing what they tell me. They have always answered up-front all my questions. Chase Bank opened my bank account with them with just my US Department of Defense id and my US Department of Veterans Affairs id; and since I wasn't seeking credit from them didn't pull my credit report. So far, Chase Bank is doing exactly why I brought my money to Chase Bank. Chase Bank has a special program that has many cool benefits for we Veterans in gratitude for our military Service. We Veterans are an extraordinary rare 7% of the population, None more cherished in a Veteran's life than those who lighten the burdens from our military Service. Good customer service is all about bringing customers back. And about sending them away happy - happy enough to pass positive feedback about your business along to others, who may then try the product or service you offer for themselves and in their turn become repeat customers. The essence of good customer service is forming a relationship with customers - a relationship that a customer feels that she or he would like to continue. One of the most frustrating issues involved the appraisal. We were led to believe that the appraisal had been scheduled, only to later discover that it had not been handled as expected. This caused unnecessary confusion and delays during an already stressful process. As a result of these issues, our closing date had to be extended, creating significant inconvenience and uncertainty for our family. Purchasing a home is one of the most important financial transactions most people will make, and I expected a much higher level of professionalism, transparency, and follow-through. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Roberto Castillo to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor who is proactive, communicative, and committed to keeping a loan transaction on schedule.
