They knew we were kind of in a jam as I was starting anew job soon and we needed a place. We liked the place and everything seemed good... then a day or so latter they called and said that the rent was 1800.... Had us over a barrel and it felt like a shake-down.... they agreed to 1600... Keep inmind this is Fort Bragg CA and the average income is pretty low for CA. the Deposit turned out to be 3500. If I wasn't stuck btween a rock and a hard place... I would look else were.
