However, the tellers here in Bloomfield are the slowest I've ever encountered. I watched a lady in the car lane next to me (I was one car behind in the next lane at the time) sit there as I finally pulled up to start my transaction. I had put in my transaction and waited as the car next to both of us pulled up and they got hers done within 3 minutes. Myself and the lady were still sitting there! Fifteen minutes on my part and no telling how many minutes she had been there! I rolled down my window and asked her if she had a serious transaction and she replied that it was just a deposit! Well, 20 minutes later and another couple of cars zipped past us! She was still sitting there as I drove off. Seriously? Maybe more training and less visiting with each other would be helpful? Frustrating. Not the first time either.

Awful! (Can't I give 0 stars?) I went in the first time after setting up an account and everyone in…read morethere was so rude! One girl was talking about another co-worker as I was standing right there! Not only that, one of the ladies was flirting and gave her number to a customer! Like hello?! Isn't this a business?! Obviously not. I will never ever go to this branch again. It is convenient for me since it's so close, but I would much rather inconvenience myself to drive to a different one.

We do online bill pay and it takes them up to 6 weeks to sometimes to post our payment. This time, they returned our payment (and we definitely have the money in the account to pay it.) We have tried to call and the receptionist tells us that everyone is on the line and they are experiencing high call volume. Gee, I wonder why if they arent posting customer payments. If you're looking for a credit union, DONT GO HERE!!!

Take your money out of big banks folks! Big banks are def the modern epitome of evil and switching over to a credit union is the way to go. I know you may think it less convenient, but that's just not true! SWFCU is prat of the credit union anytime group, so you can use any of their ATM's for free. They have those ATMS all over the U.S. so never fear. This location is very central to downtown Farmington which is also convenient. Their branch is pretty small but they are pretty quick. It's also easy to get ahold of them by phone and through their website. They also have an app so you can do phone check deposits! Ahhh the lazy man's way ^.^ They also do all the basic bank stuff like IRA accounts, CD's , checking, savings blah blah blah. They even notarized something for me. Check em out!

Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union

I joined Animas Credit Union in the 1980s and really liked ACU for decades. In recent years,…read morehowever, service and just regular business competence has declined radically. When ACU did a software "upgrade" awhile back, everything was a royal mess. Then, someone in Brooklyn, NY, wiped out my checking account and it was a rigamarole to get my money back. Then, my tax refund and stimulus checks were somehow "lost" electronically and the hassel with ACU and the IRS was unbelievable! Now, ACU has been acquired by Sandia Federal Credit Union and online banking is a mess once again. SFCU has tried to pay my bills out of the wrong account and then charge me insufficient funds fees when the right account had plenty of money in it. Local control has been lost and SFCU seems to operate more like a for-profit corporate bank than a local, member owned CU. No one I talked to voted for the acquisition and I'm skeptical that the results of that election were honestly reported. I'm looking to transfer my business elsewhere.

I did a wire transfer to my friend in NM. Animas CU which is now merged with Sandia Lab Fed CU had…read morebeen uncooperative with my bank, Chase in NY. We did a recall for the funds since this CU refused to give the funds to my friend on 4/8/22. CU refused to speak to me and staff were rude when I called. They had been unprofessional and uncooperative with my bank in returning my funds. I had reported them to different agencies as the funds were intended to help pay for a child's medical treatment in Korea. Instead, they held onto my money for 2 months and kept demanding paperwork from Chase. They also wanted me to complete a form but never sent Chase the form. They don't know what they are doing. Trying to reach their administrators is useless since no one responded. Katie, manager at Farmington is heartless when I told her my money is donation to help a child and like the devil in disguise, she wasn't helpful. Katie handles the case as per their customer rep when I called. Katie would tell me she doesn't know anything about the case and shows no concerns even though there is a sick child involved. She also said she doesn't make phone calls when I told her the staff at the executive office of Chase had been trying to reach her. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told there is no one. I also called Sandia Lab Fed since they merged but no one calls me back. I left messages for Ms Smith, one of the supervisors. I also tried to reach out to their board of directors as they should know what kind of staff they have serving the community but was told emails are restricted. I was able to leave a message for their current CEO but no response. Nora, manager at Chase continues to f/u on our recall as Animas CU- Sandia Lab Fed continues to hold onto my $9500 for past 2 months. Anyone who is a customer or want to join this CU should be careful of your money. The staff don't care and even when I have all the transfer paperwork including managers and bankers from Chase who verified I am the sender of the wire transfer, CU had not returned my money. For the 7 yo girl, last I heard was her blood pressure dropped and in critical condition a week ago. . She missed the window period for the stem cell treatment. The child who is an orphan deserves a chance to live but Katie and her credit union destroyed her hope and chance. I want everyone, not just residents in NM to know how uncaring and inhumane the staff behave in this credit union. I don't want any consumers to have to experience what I am going through with this credit union.
