Update- I have tried for a week to work with OnPoint which was a waste of time . People beware of their bill pay , there are glitches and OnPoint will not take responsibility for those glitches . One of the biggest conveniences for me has always been being able to deposit money quickly and safely using a drive-thru ATM--especially in this area where I feel more secure staying in my car. Unfortunately, this branch doesn't offer a drive-thru ATM at all. Yes, I can get out of my car to use the walk-up ATM or go inside, but that kind of defeats the whole point of quick and convenient banking. What's worse is that the ATM I used to rely on--by the Walmart in Wood Village--no longer accepts deposits either. No let me see if anyone is available, no you are welcome to sit down and wait to see if someone becomes available, just make an appointment or leave. Went to another branch just to the south in Gresham and they were happy, helpful, way busier, and had us sorted out with wonderful energy in 20 minutes. Definitely. Now ADP checks are funds already in escrow. So basically guaranteed. No need to hold. Even Fred Meyer will cash them. Check images are also ACH'd in modern times. So most checks clear in a day. Maybe two. The straw that broke the camels back? Talked to a teller by my house in Tanasbourne. I was told that check would have never had a hold placed if I would have deposited out here as opposed to the branch off 122nd by my work. So classist? Racist? Not sure. But something is fishy with this bank. I call back today and am on hold for 53 minutes before talking to a person. All you have to do is release my funds...
