I filed our property taxes online and used the credit card to pay. I never received a statement on this account following her passing. When I called a month later, the online person told me the account had been closed. I explained that I wanted to pay the billing abd they assured me Chase would mail me a statement and I could pay that with no additional fees or penalties. I received a facsimile statement two days ago and mailed in a check. Yesterday I went to the bank in Buckhannon to deposit a check for $2000.00 which went fine. Today, Sept. 6, 2019, I received a COLLECTIONS NOTICE from DVM services for a past due amount of $299.19 on the same credit card. I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to call the branch and not been able to get through. It is now 11:25 am and I am about to try again.
