We reserved a taxi van for 8 people on a Tuesday. The van was scheduled to pick us up at 3:30 on…read moreSaturday. At noon on Saturday we called to confirm and they had lost our reservation. They told us that the large van was unavailable and 8 might not fit in a minivan. We told them to send 2 cabs. A little after 3:30, only 1 cab showed up and driver had a passenger riding with her in the front seat. The cab was dirty and hot with no AC running (it was almost 100 degrees outside). When we asked the driver where the other cab was, she told us that they only sent 1 and she could come back for the rest of our group or they could send another cab, both of which would take over 30 minutes. We were supposed to be at an event from 4 to 8. The first half of our group left in this cab while I called the company. I was angry. I asked why they sent only 1 minivan with a passenger riding along and taking up space when they knew we needed transportation for 8 people and that we had somewhere to be by 4!? The woman never apologized. She said that she thought we were going to try to squeeze 8 into that minivan and that the driver is the cab owner so she can bring a friend along in her cab if she wants to. When I told her how ridiculous that was and how terrible their service had been begining with losing our first reservation all the way to suggesting that we squeeze 8 adults into 5 seats, she got even more rude. She told me to, "slow your role!" She went on about how none of this was her fault. There were so many things wrong with this experience. Just avoid Red Cab of High Point at all costs. They are terrible.

The cab took 25 to arrive. It was filthy with empty styrofoam containers, empty soda bottles, food…read morewrappers shoved between the front seats spilling into the back. Absolute disgusting with all along the odors that you could imagine in that mess. Amazingly a 1.2 mile ride took a VERY long time, not the 4 minutes it should have taken, with no traffic lights. I told the dispatcher I would be using a credit card and she said it was fine. When we arrived at the destination, the driver was furious when I told her about the credit card. She handed me her cell phone to call in my credit card number - I gave her a 50% tip in hopes of being a helping hand - NO THANK no good bye, no have a nice day - nothing ! Last insult, my credit card was charged an extra $1.00. When I called the dispatcher to tell her she over charged me, she simply hung up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
