I know quite a bit about cars and just don't have the equipment for this particular task. The timing chain is needs to be adjusted correctly. I call weekly and get the run around. I called today and bring up the fact that customers that just brought their cars in that week are being worked on and he says," I've got to pay bills"! As if he's doing mine pro bono or something. He then says he can refer me to his engine guy????? What ???? After having my car for a month and him admittingly saying he really hasn't got to look at good and offers me a referral to his engine guy. Are you serious??? He should have just been upfront immediately and said this job is above his skill level or to big of a job and that he only does oil changes, brake jobs, and tire rotations . Have some integrity and communicate honestly with your customer. I've now wasted a month and I'm going to have to get the car towed to a reputable shop. From what I understand the father unfortunately passed away and now the son in Hines and Son is a one man show. From what I gather , if you need much more than a break job you should go somewhere else.
