This is not a fancy shop full of the latest and greatest equipment. However, he does have a bitchin Snap-On diagnostic computer for the later model cars. Mike is a local Southern Maryland country boy and his somewhat shy countryfied charm will be apparent the first time you meet him. You will never be pressured to have extra work done on your car. Mike does not work that way. if he sees something while he's fixing your immediate problem he will tell you, but won't tell you that you have to fix it now. I tell my friends that he's as honest as the day is long. When he gives you an explanation of the problem, it's simple, direct, and to the point. He never speaks down to you. I have sent several female friends to him through the years and every one has remained a regular customer. I also believe that Mike is one of the most reasonably priced shops in Calvert County.

The paint had drip marks and the color was wrong. The insurance company allowed us to take the car to Quality to fix what the other shop did. Quality Auto has always taken great care of us. It's clear they truly care about their customers and take pride in the quality of their work. We highly recommend Quality Auto.

When I backed up, the bumper cracked a little bit and the pins that held the front on the car broke. My auto mechanic told me to go to a body shop. I saw Quality's great reviews and drove down from Charlotte Hall, rather worried because I had to leave on a trip the next day that I would be driving 13-14 hours for. I was ready to wait for hours to get it fixed. The receptionist had the man looking at it before I could even sit down, and he had fixed it in less than 5 minutes! Then, to top it all off, he refused to let me pay. This is a great, honest company, and I will use them again any time my car needs body work.

The first time I was there, they mounted and balanced a motorcycle tire. I went there, because no one else would do it! Problem solved. The second time, I was there because my car was diagnosed with an issue someone else could not fix. I called, explained the issue, and their reply was "No problem!" They towed it there, started working on it, and found the real problem. Called me, said the parts were available, it would be ready that day, and their quote was more than reasonable! I later looked up on a website, and the total cost was on the low end of estimates. My car works like a champ now, and I now have the only place I will take my car to, ever! I will tell all my friends that Scooter's should be your first stop. Thank you guys! Keep doing what it is you are doing! Like the other person said, "Honest auto repair"

The driver was super nice, managed to magically get her to restart but both he and his boss didn't want to leave me should anything happen again. He led me to the closest gas station where she died again waiting to turn in. The driver hooked her up, brought me to the pump. We decided to try fuel (despite there being no fuel light on and the gauge showing gas). After putting $20 in, she started running again- the driver checked the dash and THEN the light came on. Long story short, I have a faulty gauge or fuel sensor- but the customer service they provided was top notch! They truly care for their customers - and I immensely appreciated their willingness to stay with me and ensure I wasn't left stranded somewhere. Being new to the area I have no clue where anything is, so they even went as far as to recommend a diesel mechanic just in case. I'd highly recommend this company to anybody in their area if they find themselves in need. Hopefully I won't require their services again, but if I do I will gladly give them a call and my service. I can't thank this team enough!!

I contacted the dealership with interest in a used Subaru Outback. After speaking to representative, I received a call from the owner, Tom, shortly after. The discussion was friendly and honest. Tom was genuinely interested in making sure I was satisfied with the vehicle. I arranged a meeting the next day to come take a look at the car. Long story short, I ended up purchasing the vehicle with what was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had. Typically, negotiating the price of the car is a strenuous and unenjoyable experience. Working with Becca, Jeremiah, and Tom, we were able to come to a very fair price without the unnecessary back and forth. Not often do you feel that a car dealership is being fair in their pricing, but they were at Tom Hodges. The transaction was quick, the staff extremely helpful from the sales team to the admin folks, and most importantly, the pricing very reasonable. Not only will I be purchasing future vehicles from Tom Hodges, but I will also be getting my Outback serviced there as well. Next time you are in the market for a used car, give them a try. Enjoy a much smoother transaction than most of the other dealerships in the area.

There was always an excuse. I guess a lesson learned. Even a small town dealership that's been established for a long time. Doesn't have much empathy for an out-of-state purchaser. So $790 later, at least the issue was fixed and my children are saved and not getting exhaust blown into them through the vents while they're in the backseat I guess there was a reason why I was never offered a warranty until many emails later that I kept requesting it((all-time stamped and documented)
