When I tried to return a defective receiver that was just two days outside of the return policy, Joan was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I simply expected some flexibility and respect given my long-standing business with Best Buy. Instead, I was treated like my loyalty meant nothing. What makes it even worse is that if I had purchased this item from Amazon, I would've been well within their return policy. I specifically chose to shop at Best Buy instead of Amazon (even though the price was the same) because I wanted to support a brick-and-mortar business. Clearly, that loyalty was a mistake. Moving forward, I'll be doing all my shopping with Amazon, where customer service is consistent, and policies are more customer-friendly. It's unacceptable for a company like Best Buy to treat a high-spending customer this way, and I can't recommend this location--or the company--anymore. Best Buy has lost my business for good.

That's when we met Tim. He was totally awesome and jumped in and took care of all our needs. My grandson had a list a friend made for him of what we needed. He took and made a shopping list for us. Then he asked if we wanted help getting all the parts. We said Yes! He was great, he took our buggy and took off and got everything on our list. I would say above and beyond what we expected. They get 5 stars in my book. I did meet the manager and he asked me if there was anything that he could do for me, so I shared with him how in the service department on the counter, the screens that we sign and use for payment were so dirty( like with people having sneezed on them or something it was so gross) so I attached a video. I did tell him I would appreciate if they would clean those and yesterday he told me he would make sure it would be done and he appreciated my feedback. I came back today and there was one manager and she was doing everything and she had to go back there and tell the guys to come help her! I think is so sad that her staff weren't wanting to work and she had to encourage them to come out and give her support. The guy I had helping me was not professional yesterday nor today and really could use some more training on professionalism and his presentation of himself and Customer Service. The female manager had to take over because he was so out of it. The male manager that had assured me he would have those payment pads cleaned never did it nor had his staff clean them, so I'm posting it here. What a shame. They have a lot of competition and it's a shame they can't get their act together.
