First they cancel my condo insurance because they said I didn't pay before the due date (check sent…read more12/19, due 1/6). Then before I can put a stop payment on the check, I find out they cashed it yesterday. Now I have to wait about 10 days for the refund check to get here and it's going to take another few days to clear. Why TF did they cash the check knowing they canceled my policy? They kept trying to make me do online payments, but until they can guarantee me 100% that my info won't be compromised I refuse. I know a lot of people whose credit and debit cards have been compromised/hacked. I also have an auto policy (2) with them and I don't get the bill until close to the end of the month. Then they keep sending me notices that my payments are going to be overdue and my policy canceled unless I make an online payment. WTF is up with that?? Needless to say, I'm looking for a new insurance company.

Unfortunately I had to make a very difficult and stressful decision to cancel and seek another insurance company. We added my son and his vehicle to our policy and it was taking too long to get his policy "approved"?? After several phone calls to the 1-800 number, I was told that the "approval" is pending on the "backend"? wuh?? I'm so confused! Waited a week and called back and was told they don't show anything in their records of me adding my son and his vehicle to our policy, I have no choice but to find coverage for his vehicle else where, as I didn't have any energy to deal with this. Additionally, there was bad weather that caused damages to our roof as well as to the homes in our general neighborhood. My neighbors were approved with their insurance company after filing a claim for their roof, but not ours. We were denied, they also sent a forensic to investigate the roof damage. The claim process was quick and the Adjuster was friendly to work with, it was very disappointing to had been denied, made me feel like we have home insurance for nothing. But anyways, time to move forward...

Then I get a letter over a month later stating I no longer have insurance with them. Called the local number and hung up after 90+ minutes on hold. Spoke to their nonlocal agents who all said I needed to speak with a local agent. At the end, they said they couldn't do anything to help me and to find another insurance company.

I was put in an unpleasant scary situation with AAA when they supposedly signed me up for a homeowner and auto policy. Approximately couple weeks later and after they collected my premium payments, they basically told me that they would have to terminate my policy because the property value exceeded their limits! They didn't even survey my property! Then, they said the policy will terminate in about 21days! They even advised for me to cancel my policy with my previous insurance company. Basically, AAA they left me in a bad situation and now having to find another insurance company in 21days. I have never filed a claim for this 70yr old home. A friend advised me to contact their agent Lance Arakaki at StateFarm which I did on Good Friday (holiday). I explained my urgent request to obtain insurance. He was very professional, gave great advice on StateFarms requirements and the process. He emailed me exactly what he needed and kept me informed almost daily on the status of my application. He took the seriousness of my situation knowing AAA was terminating in couple weeks! Lance called me yesterday to tell me the great news that they will be able to insure my home and auto for a competitive price too! Absolutely no help at all! STAY AWAY!…read more My husband got into an accident on 2/2, He couldn't get ahold of our agent and didn't hear back for probably about 2 hours after it happened. Once we did hear back they said "oh, well here a list of places you can go to" and left us to call and find a place for our car. After calling around and couldn't get into a place they finally did their jobs and found us a body shop in Kaneohe, took them 3 weeks to let us know the car was totaled. We booked a rental car through insurance and used it for 5 days until my husband got a call from the rental car company that our insurance agent cancelled our rental car, without letting us know!. Then they didn't even cover their portion to what our policy states, leaving us paying $700+ for our car. They gave us blank paper work to get notarized which every time we turned in they said it wasn't right without really helping us figure out the problem. It's been 1 month and we still haven't be able to buy another car and have to borrow a car from friends just to get to work everyday. WORST INSURANCE AGENT EVER.. well you don't even talk with Jay you only talk to his assistant so WORST STATE FARM OFFICE EVER. I will be changing my insurance when possible because if this is how State Farm handles claims then I don't want them for insurance. STAY AWAY!!
