I really have been looking for something unique, handmade, and truly Alaskan to remember my trip and found that very thing here. (A really beautiful pendant made of fossilized mammoth tooth and larimar... ) I did have a hard time deciding, just because there were so many beautiful pieces here! They carry native handicrafts, gold and silver jewelry, art objects, and so much more. I think they are also a full service jewelry store and can do repair work as well. If you're looking for something to remember your trip or to get for a gift, don't miss this shop. It's amazing and Carmen is wonderful to chat with! She helped me figure out some great places to visit while I'm here to shoot in. I'm so glad I stopped in! Thanks so much, love my pendant and Homer was a cool trip today!

They are still open for business!! This was the very best "souvenir" place in all of Alaska. Reluctant to use that word "souvenir" as this store is really an art store full of native Alaskan artwork, carvings, etc. It's almost like a museum. If you want to consider something special from Alaska, stop at this place. We got a small scrimshaw piece carved on a small chunk of mammoth tusk that was mounted on a piece of caribou antler. So unique and beautiful. BTW - the Alaskan locals find mammoth tusks and pieces around the lakebeds - thousands of years old. It is legal for them to collect and turn into art as they are not collected by hunting live animals.

I first came across this store years ago looking for TCG options and was pleasantly surprised at…read morethe time of their selection. It has since become a must visit anytime we're in town spending time with family. I don't have updated photos so I just uploaded a few of the photos we took from a while ago. I'll be sure to update them when we visit this summer. The shop is clean and tidy and things are very easy to navigate and find. Staff is pretty friendly there and willing to give gift suggestions as well as explaining TCG offerings and what's coming soon. Very helpful and easy to talk to. The front part of the store has tons of toys, gifts, educational toys, and games. I truly feel that if you have a young one, you should stop in and check out their offerings as it is extremely huge. The back of the store is dedicated more toward more mainstream toys, models, and trading cards. It's been extremely nice seeing them grow their selection over the years. We recently got into MTG and were pleasantly surprised to find their commander deck selection and pack/box selection fairly well stocked and I have even found a few commander decks to add to my collection. If you're into collectibles and trading cards, this place is a must stop as the business clearly has been listening to their customers in expanding their offerings to fit their needs.
