We also have a 2 year warranty on this sofa. Saxon-Clark picked up the sofa and kept it for over 3 months, then claimed that the manufacturer had fixed it. They had their delivery people bring the same sofa back to our house and it had not been fixed at all - they even stapled a new tag on this same defective sofa. The delivery guys also know it is the same sofa and they took it back with them. Ann at Saxon agreed it is the same sofa, but they will nut refund our money. After many more emails and phone calls, Ann has refused to return our money. We are out a sofa and over $2000 to this company. We are elderly and don't know what else to do. I guess this is par for the course in Florida.

I was in the market for a new pool cleaner. I had seen their ads and googled a few of the options to see what would fit my pool best. I stopped in to purchase the Polaris Atlas XT. The specials at that time included a $50 gift card to any Pinch a Penny store, and the manufacturer was offering a $100 rebate and a leaf catcher with registration of the product. While I was there, I chatted to the owner about my pool turning green in the past. He mentioned I may have a phosphate issue and to bring some water in for testing. I finally received my rebate and leaf catcher in the mail, approximately 6 weeks later. I took a water sample to the store and waited in line to get it tested. FYI, have some idea as to the dimensions of your pool as well as if it's made of concrete, fiberglass etc. I was a bit caught off guard by that, since I did not build this pool. When the printout of my water test came out, my water sample totally checked out. But something was missing - no phosphate test. I explained to the employee that there was something else... something I needed but I could not think of the name. I mentioned my pool guy does this exact same testing every week and there has never been a problem. I told him I was going to wait for the owner to come over and help. While waiting, the employee prepared the chemicals for a subsequent test, and the squeeze bottle overflowed and shot up into the air and chemicals sprayed on the trash can in front of me and possibly my shoe. It was hard to tell. He asked if he got me with it, to which I said I was unsure. When I asked if the chemicals were hazardous, he said no. But I was not very confident in his answer. I have no idea what just got on my sneaker. I hoped it wasn't acid. When the owner was available, he remembered me. He reminded me I needed a phosphate check and that is not routine. I asked the employee to run the test and he had already tossed my pool water in the sink. Ugh. I'm not sure why he did that, knowing I was still waiting for answers AND there was no one else in line for testing. But I was slightly annoyed. The owner reassured me that if the pool looks clear and not yellow or green or cloudy, that it was probably fine, especially since the water test checked out ok. He said if anything changes, to bring another water sample in. Next time I'll remember the word phosphate because I wrote this review. And I'll be sure to roughly measure my pool.

Simply pouring chlorine in and not cleaning filter as indicated they would or vacuum the pool. I have a screened in pool and I'm the one cleaning the skimmer basket at the pool pump. Brought these concerns up twice to the manager/owner. On the second call I asked when they would actually come back to clean the pool and his answer, we'll refund you the money for this month and part ways. Great way of doing business.

There were so many trees, decorated in so many themes, with so many accessories, for the rest of the room. I've never seen anything so holly and jolly in the retail world. It really was a feast for the senses (cue the Who's to start singing). There were some really beautiful things-and some prices were high... or at least higher than you'd expect. There were some blue and white cone trees that took my breath away. I'd almost sell my car for those. They were breathtaking-as is so much of this store. And it's not just the merchandise, but the way they've displayed it, as well. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit... without drinking any holiday spirits. But if it's not your style, they have many trees you can buy and all sorts of stuff to adorn it with. I really liked all the lights. They had huge stars for the lawn and large balls of light to hang as well as firework shaped lights. Very cool. I picked up a tea towel. It was $9.99. I didn't have a need for any of the big stuff but I was fascinated by the designs and color schemes etc. The owner said they've been open for over 50 years. She also mentioned they do business with the theme parks. Pro tip- they start Christmas in July! So that's when the store is stocked full of everything. So shop early for the best selection. They do not ship because things can break and the shipping and insurance is expensive. So while they have a website, it does not have their items and you cannot buy online. So- stop by! I would give an hour just to peruse. If you're buying - it could be a few hours. Also- they have other holiday stuff (Halloween, Fourth of July, etc)and silk flowers for arrangements etc. They also have furniture, many large planters and vases. So this store is not just Christmas.
