I called the shop and they said that they priced it wrong and that was the price. She later goes on to tell me that the price she gave my son was an estimate. That is a 49.4% increase from the price my 20 year old college student was quoted, Why bother to give estimates if your off by 50%. When I challenged her on the increase she said if I wanted to get my son home safe that was the cost. Why did they not disclose the 49.4% increase in the quoted price prior to doing the repairs. She then slammed the phone and would not answer when I called back. This place is baiting and switching and if you have college students in Lewisburg PA that need their car repaired do not send them here. They prey on vulnerable young kids with out of state plates.

We then took it to our local garage and they confirmed this but also found 3 spots under the vehicle that should have made it never pass inspection. I called them, they apologized and gave us our money back. I see they are trying to resell this vehicle at $6995, knowing they should never have allowed it to pass inspection. I have been going to this garage for at least 5 years. I trusted them fully until recently…read more Car number 1 In April of 2024, I took my car into the garage and was told I needed a new motor. I paid for the entire job UP FRONT. It took 5 months to get the car at least drivable again. It's STILL to this day not completed. There was another issue (not related to the motor) so it was put back in the garage for another 4 months (still not completed). When I started asking about the written bill (stating all work associated with the motor, motor cost, all parts put on, the mileage on the new motor, and the warranty information for the motor) I was ignored. To this day I still have NONE of this information. Car number 2 I had my car inspected the end of November 2024. Had new tires put on. Went to another establishment, McCahans Alignment (highly recommend) to have an alignment done. In two months, all four brakes were so bad, I not only needed brakes BUT rotors also. How do the brakes get that bad in 2 months that it destroys the rotors in 2 months? Also, the tire sensor light was on, and I was told I didn't need sensors it just needed to be reset. Turns out I needed 3 sensors. IF you have any warranty work done here, ASK for a copy of ALL records of the claim being actually made. This was never done for me and now the warranty is out, I have paid for much of the work to be done, and the price of the warranty when I bought the car. I have been blatantly overcharged for things. When it was brought to the attention of the garage, it was always blamed on somebody else. This garage has obviously lowered it's standards since I began going there.

Originally went in for State Inspection, left with 2 broken oil plugs & an bill! After inspection I…read moredecided to get oil change. Waited about 3 hrs when they finally came to me and said the oil drain plug stripped & they're gonna charge me $170.00 for pan plus $79.95 for oil change. Being a bit naive I finally said "Ok". Then called my attorney brother-in-law and a friend who worked for Jiffy Lube for years. They both said Steve Shannon is responsible for the damaged, stripped plug not me. I told them what I was advised and they tried to say it was "worn out" and they're not responsible for stripping it while taking it apart. Eventually the supervisor said they'll cover the cost, but told me "Don't come in here ever again"! I waited another hour for an oil pan to be picked up and installed. They came to me again & said they broke one (of 3) "clips" on the new pan and had to order another pan. This is on a weekend so they had to drive me home & I went without a car for 3 days. Got car back on 1-5-26 and oil light was on. I contacted the Owner, Herb Shannon who referred me to the DM. Told them I should NOT have to pay for the oil change after all the issues and they disagreed. They offered a future "free" oil change but then they re-nigged on that. I was told to bring my car back in to find out why oil light was on. Brought it to another location and found that I was 1.5 quarts short of oil! The guy there was nice, added oil but I'll never go back. I gave them the opportunity to make it right by refunding me for the botched oil change, compensate for lost time, NO CAR for 3 days & damaging my oil plug but they refused. You choose where you'll go but I don't recommend Steve Shannon Tires.

I had an appointment, and they were ready for me when I arrived. They did an oil change, put on 4 new tires, and checked all of the hoses and filters. They gave me a great price, I know because I had an estimate for the same work at a shop down the street, and it was more money, and they had trouble with scheduling. The best service I could ask for, and my car was ready when they said it would be!
