They were amazingly responsive. They gave us multiple options to fix what needed fixing. They didn't push anything off on us. They explained the ins and outs of every option in detail. And they were fast. We were traveling from South Carolina to Ohio, had problems on the way there , and needed to return home. They explained what needed to be done for safety to get home safe. And then other things that we needed to address in the near future. But also gave us a really detailed list of things we needed to look at when we get home. read more

I needed a tire sensor replaced and one of my tires was making a weird bell like noise at low speeds. Made an appointment for 8am on a Sunday. Found out the cover cap for a barring had broken off and was just rolling around causing the bell noise. They replaced my sensor and I was on my way in a couple of hours. I got a couple of updates during the process but it wasn't overwhelming. read more

great service. They were able to help me in a pinch with even a simple service of getting a bead to seat on a mower tire. The other tire company said they couldn't help without even trying. very thankful! read more

I have several cars and on several occasions i have gone to other Firestone locations. I was sent to this Firestone by Enterprise Rent A Car for a problem I had with a battery from a car I purchased. Well, the professionalism, the cleanliness of the shop says it all. They don't mess around they do outstanding work they do it well. I am very pleased with the service i will continue to patronize them and recommend my friends. By the way i pass several other locations to go to this Firestone. this Firestone is actually out of the way from where I live. Truth is it is difficult to find a good mechanic and when you do you better keep him. read more

I just want to put a good word in for the service manager John Philips. A few years back I use to put in almost 50,000 miles on my car per year. I spent a lot of time changing oil and preventive maintenance. I tried out numerous shops from all over and kept coming back to John when he was at the Avon Firestone because of his honestly. I use to have a lot of different techs give me all kinds of false information to make extra money, which was quite irritating. I even had someone from another Firestone try to take me for a ride. John will always be straight up with a person because that's how he's wired. No one likes to be taken for a ride so if anyone needs any work done and does not have someone they can trust, they need to talk to John and he will steer you in the right direction. He has a good crew in North Olmsted and they will do what they can to make things right by you. read more

Without going into ad nauseam detail, I will not return to this location. I went in for an oil change and an A/C system check. I left with an A/C cabin leak, and brake noise. I had the brake system remedied at a local reputable mechanic. Bill, at Firestone, stated that he would fix the A/C issue for free, but I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, due to scheduling around my work and their workload. He went back on his word, and said that he did not say for free, and wanted to charge me $140. The most unprofessional and rude interaction I've ever experienced as a longtime Firestone customer ensued. He finally angrily agreed to do the right thing, and not charge me. As an Army veteran, honesty and integrity are of paramount importance to me. They've lost a long term customer in me because of this discourtesy. My advice is to get everything documented and in writing if you use this location! read more

Did a great job on my car! New battery, new tires for less then $200! Perfect way to get up and feel happy. The only reason I 'm not giving 5 stars is the one guy named Nadaam was very unsatisfied to be there. He seemed like he had a better place to be then take care of these cars. But Lisa was amazing! Thanks again! read more

Had an appointment for general maintenance at 12 pm. It is 2:50pm and they are just pulling it in the shop. Not once have they given me an update or anything. Watched them misplace an older lady's keys and one of the tech's ride around on a boogie board. At least the guy riding on the boogie board took a break from the boogie board to pull my truck in. I am not going to complain but instead I will NOT come back to this location for service. read more

I went here to get my car fixed since it wasn't accelerating and was recommended to bring it here by someone. Well after paying $1100 including other some regular Maintance i was told my car was done and left and as soon as I turned on my car it was Doig. The exact same thing I turned out onto the street and was doing exact same Thing so I turned around and now the car only going only 8 mph and I am hoping to JuSf make it back to them. They know tel me it be another $189 I was so upset since I already paid $1100 we'll they tel me they will fix it for free since they see I am upset. I feel I paid for repairs to be done and could of simply cost me only about $200. read more

I have my elderly mother-in-law take her car to Firestone routinely because I have had good experiences at my location new my office. In January she took her Altima in for tires and oil change. Last week she came to me and said her brakes were not working and that the brake pedal was going to the floor! After pulling the tires to check everything out, I noticed the fronts were fine but will need replaced soon. The back brakes were destroyed....I literly have never seen brakes look so bad. Both calipers were seized up, the passenger side had no pads at all and was metal to metal. The drivers side was missing one of the pads all together and grinding the caliper piston down as the brakes were applied! What was surprising, the technician in January found $1,400.00 in other recommended services but said nothing about her rear brakes! I have been of the opinion that when you get an oil change....the car is inspected, especially the brake pad conditions! IF ONLY I COULD ATTACH THE PICTURES TO THIS REVIEW! This place was outstanding. They quoted me tires that were lower than Conrads for same tire. Also helped me out with my sons car who had a brake light problem. I was overly impressed with the guy at counter. read more
