Had a couple if issues. First, I wanted tires they did not have in stock. I ordered them. They contacted me and said they has them. Went to get them installed and was told they did not have them. I reordered and the same thing happened. After going through this several times. I bought my tires somewhere else. Another time I would have squeak in the rear when it was wet. They went out and pushed on my car bumper and said I needed struts without looking. I disagreed. I went to the dealer, and they came out and looked under the car. The problem was the design. The parking brake cable went through an eye, and the outer covering of the cable wore off because of the bouncing. read more

My truck needed new wheel sensors for monitoring tire pressure so I went and picked up four of them at the GM dealer who said they wanted $100 to install them for me, but I declined because they needed me to drop the truck off and I didn't have time. So I reached out to fire stone because I was working in the area and could easily walk after dropping it off. They quoted me $383 to install the new sensors which is just highway robbery. the shop I will be taking the truck to to have the work done quoted me $80. read more

Reasonable enough tire prices, but they technicians leave something to be desired. They have broken the spare tire mount on my Jeep Wrangler twice in the past 2yrs. The best I could get is "well, you can take the vehicle and get it fixed". I would give 0 if I could. In a nutshell, a routinefurl pump and fuel filter replacement resulted in the frying of my CPU, and loss of power steering. They don't work on CPU's so I was brushed off and told to go to the dealership. This was after a $1200.00, bill of course. No offer to help, no discount. Just "hey dude, you car doesn't work now, but I can't do anything about it, but do you got that $1200?? Guess what, it gets worse. Pulling into a pump the accelerator engages as the cruise control was activated by the CPU that Firestone had fried. I hit a pole at around 35. Im out a car, Rides for my kids, work, loss of dignity and the embarrassing 2 hours waiting for a tow truck while smashed into a pole in a way th a t looks impossible to have happened. Do you want to lose your car and maybe your life? Because going through Firestone is how you lose your car and possibly your life... read more

Absolutely terrible service. Over 6 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Dropped off at 11 and was Told to pick up at 4:45pm and realized the service hadn't even been done yet. They offered no explanation. Take your car for servicing to another location. Edit: after 7 hours they chose not to charge us for the service. They have multiple trainees and are getting backlogged easily. I still recommend you go elsewhere. read more

We ordered new tires, lifetime alignment, and fluid replacement in differential for our 2020 Subaru. They drained but never replaced the front differential fluid. It destroyed the transmission and differential. It cost almost $9,000 to fix. Firestone Corporate has taken no responsibility for the error, although the documentation by Subaru and the damaged parts said otherwise. We understand human error but not the lack of responsibility for the error. The attorney general has the case with no response from Firestone at this time. read more

Vehicle Services: I had my oil changed and they checked my brakes because I had started to hear a rubbing sound. Turns out my front pads were really low and I needed new drums too. Cost: It cost about $400 for both of those including taxes and everything. The brake inspection itself was free. Timeliness: I dropped my car off mid-day on a Saturday expecting it to be an overnight job (there were a few cars ahead of me), but they ended up finishing it the same day. Overall: Good service, but it might have been a little overpriced. I am not super savy on what other places would have charged, but I have a feeling I paid a little higher than other places for faster service. When I called other local garages they weren't going to be able to get after it until the next week. read more

The customer service here is excellent. I got a flat tire in the morning so I called to see if they could squeeze me in. Despite the fact that they were extremely busy, they had me drop off the tire and patched it up by mid afternoon. I believe Harry was the gentleman who helped me. He was so upbeat and helpful. I took my 2011 Jeep into the store for an alignment and a tire rotation. The manager called my daughter's number and told her that they could not complete the alignment due to "bad ball joints". I called and told me that they could not do the alignment because of "bad upper/lower, front and rear control arms." Each of these reasons were wrong and the manager was not honest with me. I know this because I personally checked the ball joints and refurbished the bushings on the control arms. To confirm this, I took my Jeep into the Jeep dealership service department to have it aligned. They had no problems doing the job. In addition, the "tire rotation", as they like to call it, was placing the spare on the wrong side of the vehicle, (the tires are uni-directional). I cannot help but think that this was an attempt to up-sell some repairs (which would have cost thousands of dollars) which I didn't need. I also have the feeling that because I have lifetime alignment and rotation for this vehicle, that it wasn't worth their time. I have been with Firestone for years, all over the country, as we are a military family and trust Firestone to assist us in taking care of our cars. This, by far, is the WORST service I have gotten. The attempt to convince me that I had other damages that would have resulted in paying out of pocket THOUSANDS of dollars was CRIMINAL. By the way, now I am out of pocket $131.89 because instead of Firestone honoring my lifetime alignment, I had to have someone else do it. I also have to now waste more of my time in order to switch the tires back, THE RIGHT WAY, on the failed rotation. I have had great experiences with Firestone with honest and qualified employees. This was NOT one of them. RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT USE THE LEAVENWORTH, KS FIRESTONE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. read more

Well, they changed 2 lights that weren't broken for over $15 each without my permission (I know how to change a brake light: part is probably $2 and the time to change it is about 5 minutes, I'm not an idiot). They also trashed my back seat by crawling around with dirty feet on my appolstry, thanks for ruining my car!! They also said my car would be done by 5pm, guess what, they only had done the oil change in 5 HOURS, they were also supposed to change my brakes. So my husband walked 2 miles to pick the car up and THEN found out they hadn't even looked at the brakes yet. Unreliable service. Absolutely frustrating EVERYTHING. I'm now sitting here as they reinstall the broken lights they took out (and I just feel that those lights weren't actually bad before I came in, but changing myself is like a couple bucks vs. $32 and change). In addition I'm waiting for them to clean out the absolute MESS they made in oil and dirt all over my back seat. Yeah, no, never ever again. I regret not taking photos of the back seat before bringing my car back. I'll post more if there's still an issue, I would be surprised if there wasn't. As I said, I scheduled an appointment for my brakes to be looked at which they totally ignored. If there's a local brake service, I'd be more than happy to get suggestions, as I've said, I will NEVER come back here. This company should be ashamed. read more

took my car in on Friday night had oil changed went to work today not even 2 miles my car over heated and was smoking pulled over and they didn't put the radiator cap back on. I called the store and they said they don't check the radiator fluid so it wasnt them! So Firestone what do you check when you do oil changes the fluids right well I sure hope my heads and gaskets aren't damaged. I'm calling corporate to see what you do check that's not what your add says. Almost a week later and no one has contacted me but by email. I have proof they checked my fluids. I guess they don't care that they can cause thousands of dollars in damage to your vehicle take your time Firestone. read more

Had a flat tire. Having been a Firestone customer/family member (my father, brother, and sister are all retirees) since 1954, I made an appointment to see if my Bridgestone tire could be fixed. After 15-20 minutes, the manager told me the tire could not be repaired, and he did not have the right tire in stock. OK. I waited another 20 minutes or so, and at the tail end of that wandering around I noticed that the hood to my vehicle was up, and my spare was just hanging off the bolts. I asked the manager what was up with my hood being up, and he told me that the tech was doing a "courtesy check" of fluids, etc. I had not asked for this, I was not apprised of this when I called for my appointment, and would not have given them permission to do so even if I had been asked, as I have had bad experiences in the past with slimeball mechanics trying to take advantage of me as a woman, to put more "repairs" onto the bill and take advantage of my assumed mechanical stupidity. I let the manager know I was unhappy about it, but it still took another 15 minutes or so for the tech to put my car back together. I had made another appointment to get two new tires, but I'm not sure I'm going to keep it, especially since they have KEPT MY RIM instead of replacing it into the trunk. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I'm still seething, wondering if I am going to leave Firestone after all these years. The jury is still out. read more

Came in to get 4 new snow tires, went in when they opened, I stayed since I didn't have anyone to pick me up. Front desk guy was super friendly. Came out maybe 45 min in told me my brakes we're on their way out (which I knew) offered to replace the rotors that were on special. I asked how long it would take, he quoted noon, I was out by 1030.
