GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE A 0 IS NOT ALLOWED! I scheduled an appointment with the Store Manager Mike on Sunday 9/7 as i was having my vehicle towed to their location for a diagnostic. He was extremely helpful and got me scheduled for Wednesday 9/10 and he went as far as telling me that I wasn't required to be present when the car arrived and they would get the car checked out and a follow up call would be made to give me an update on their findings. Well, the tow truck was a little delayed this morning and when I called Firestone to inform them that the driver was headed their way with the vehicle I was told by Chris who I later found out was the service manager that I would need to be present to sign the car in. I explained to him that Mike, STORE MANAGER told me that this was not necessary as I reiterate that I am a current customer. I told him that I was heading to work which is about 30 minutes from my home and he said I'm sorry you will need to be here. Once I got off the road I placed a second call to Firestone to speak with Mike and was told that he is off until Friday. As the frustration set in, I began to again repeat the conversation to Chris and he then says that Mike doesn't always give accurate information and goes on to say that he "Chris" does things the right way and he runs a tight ship and an autograph must be received before any car enters his shop. As someone who works in Human Resources, I found Chris's comments about his store manager to be completely unacceptable, disrespectful, and unprofessional. To speak poorly of a manager in front of a customer is not only inappropriate, but it also reflects extremely poorly on your company! I ultimately chose to take my vehicle to Goodyear, where the experience was handled very differently. They registered my vehicle over the phone, without requiring my physical presence, and provided a smooth and professional customer service experience! read more

how is this place still in business? oh wait, I know how, desperate people. my car literally got a flat tire by their shop on 49. the tire was not even flat but my low tire light came on. this happened at the light on 90 & 49 and I was turning left (north) to head to haddiesburg. I only had to drive a few blocks to the shop. I pulled in and asked for service. I found a nail in the center of the tread of a rear tire. seemed like a simple plug fix. the dude said I needed a new tire and they could not "plug" it due to the location. they wanted $149 for a tire plus mount and balance. WTF I said no and left. stopped a few blocks down at a used tire shop and the guy there plugged it for me and charged me $8. I was so happy I gave him a $20 and a hug. he said there was no reason it could not be plugged and sounded like a upsell for a new tire! places that do this are the worst. this shop is awful so my advice is drive a few block more to the used tire shop on the right and they will take care of you with a smile. read more

Bought my car in at 8:00am they proceeded to put it on the lift n not touch it for 4 hours when it was a job that should've taken a hour max so I would say if you don't hav the time to drop it off I don't recommend read more

I had set up an appointment online only to find out that the system doesn't actually communicate with the store, however; they still squeezed us in and we're even able to make a repair same day. They were awesome from the start, super kind and honest staff. read more

Wes was awesome that helped me originally. I was there for 4 new tires and an oil change. The manager is the one that "took care of me" when the job is complete. It took him almost 30 minutes just to check me out. He of course, tried to sell me on a new battery amongst other things he then proceeded after I told him I was not interested to take care of two other people that came in after me and left me standing there while my car was already in the parking lot. They turned my lights all the way on off of the auto setting and let my car sit with the lights on in the parking lot as well as had them on while doing the service manager tried to tell me that my battery failed the test. No wonder when you leave my lights on the whole time. When I finally got into my car, it wouldn't start and why would it when someone takes 30 minutes and has your lights on that whole time? Absolutely crooked. I went back in and was very angry. All he did was have a mechanic come and jump me and didn't say another word and just walked back inside. creepy and cringy. unacceptable, unprofessional. I called corporate and reported it as well. wise as a serpent meek as a dove when dealing with a manager or crooked salesman like this. I'm sure he thought because I was a young female I'd fall for his tactic and come back inside saying I needed a new battery after all. my battery is only two years old. Initially our experience was a great one! My husband bought a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle and did most of the work on the engine and lines himself with huge help from his brother-in-law. They got the car running pretty well but brought it to this Firestone location to work on the brakes which were pretty shot. The master cylinder needed replacing and the brakes needed bled and checked. We thought the work was great and I dropped my husband off to drive the car home. On the way home, the back driver side wheel shot off the car across three lanes of traffic to land in the middle of the woods. Firestone came out and helped locate the tire after over an hour of searching and put the wheel back on using a bolt from each of the still attached tires. (Now each tire only has three bolts instead of four.) They had to order the replacement bolts but checked everything out again and gave it the all clear. As a secondary education professional, my husband's spring schedule didn't allow him the opportunity to take the car back up for another scheduled appointment to have the missing bolts installed. Even so, the car was driven short distances periodically and was doing great... Until the brakes went out and he almost got into an accident. So, my husband calls Firestone again and they agree to tow the car back up to their location as it had been less than 6.5 months since the brake job and replacement of the master cylinder. Once they began working on it, a mechanic calls and tells my husband they can't keep the car running and he will have to get it tuned up and going well before they can look at the brake job that we already paid for. So, they hire a tow service to bring it back to our house. IT ARRIVES WITHOUT ITS SUNROOF. We call after the holiday and they have no idea what happened to make a part of the car disappear. They recommend that we call the tow service they hired to see if they know anything, but they don't. Fast forward to after this weekend: the car runs fine after the fuel system was cleaned up and the tank drained and cleaned. Actually, the car runs better than it ever has. My husband calls this Firestone location to have them schedule an appointment for them to look at the brakes that we had already paid for in January for them to tell him point blank, "Nope. I don't want to see it again. I don't want to see that car here." So now, we are out brakes that they supposedly fixed and tuned and out a sunroof that they lost for us. We have opened a claim with the corporate office and would love for this to be attended to and made right. read more

Horrible!!!! Brought my Sequoia here for wheel balancing and they put weights on top of weights to balance. Couple weeks later, car shimmied like crazy on highway. Thought tires were going to fall off. During another visit, they kept car in shop for four hours before calling me to ask if they could do a diagnostics??? Thought that was why I brought it in. read more

I stopped in for some help with low pressure on my tires and they took care of me in minutes. Friendly staff with a clean store.

I'm completely and utterly disappointed. My husband took his car to be looked at because it was making this funny noise and his steer wheel was shaking. Took the car to them @ 9 AM around 4:30 PM they called to say it my husband's struts were bad. My husband had just had those struts replaced less than a year ago. No worries anything could happen. My husband drove the car straight home with our 1 year old in the backseat. Once he made it home he wanted to take a look at the struts. As he's taking the wheels off he realizes that two or more lug nuts are exactly loose. After tightening them, it was a simple fix of the lugs being loose. So either Firestone NEVER took the tire off and just told my husband his struts were bad OR they didn't tighten the lug nuts which the wheel could've come off as he drove our ONE year old home. Thankfully this didn't end bad but this is BAD BUSINESS! We could've been spending hundreds of dollars for a part that didn't need to be replaced or either my husband and daughter being in a very BAD accident. I will NEVER take another car or recommend anyone take their car to them. read more

They suck ! Very this a pointing, we got a tire there end of June . The tire has a hole on the side of tire . ON THE SIDE we have less than 1,800 miles on the tire . They will not work with us , they don't care , they are very rude . Even though we should have gotten new tire . We would have been happy with partial pay on a new tire !
