I brought a rental in for an oil change. On vacation from Texas. Made a 4pm appointment. Had it dropped off by 3:30. It's now 5:25 pm and the vehicle has been on the bat for 45+ minutes. They JUST NOW lifted it to drain the oil. 3 techs on the floor, no other cars in the shop. WTF. Ask for an update and get the blank stare. This is the most terrible excuse for service I've ever had at Firestone, by a lot. They've basically destroyed our last day of vacation. Zero stars. read more

Promises not kept. I have used this store for years, but, no more. Had battery issues. After three attempted fixes, and three battery replacements, they said they tracked the issue to the master cabin module. Replacement cost - $2500. Service manager assured me that if it did not fix the issue, they would not charge me for the part. IT DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE! Store manger then tells me that the employee did not have the authority to make that promise. Ended up taking to dealership and THEY DID actually find the issue and fixed it. Disappointing experience after trusting them for some time. I've met a few others who have had issues like this with this store; be wary. I took my car into this Firestone to find out why my dashboard lights would go off at random. When they completed the check, they called me and informed me that the issue was a result of a bad cooling pump. A week after I got my car, the issue returned. In short, I expected them to fix my dashboard issues, and they did not. I contacted them and they offered to fix the issue for free, but a third party identified the issue as a completely different matter. The real culprit was that the dashboard lights themselves needed to be replaced. My dashboard lights have not gone out since then. I don't intend on going back; I don't trust them to fix the issue. The most insulting part has been trying to get a refund. Because they've completely and utterly ignored me at every level. They took my money, didn't fix the issue, told me to reach out, and when I did they said nothing in return. Money first, ethics last. Wonderful impression to leave. read more

They stole my wheel key locks when I went in to get my tires done & lied to my face about it. Was told the tire place probably wouldn't have the parts to get the job done since I didn't have the key that I previously owned. You know, before they stole it. So in total: the tire place couldn't do the very basic tire thing and robbed me. read more

I had an appt for an oil change. It is the first one I have had since my service contract with Hyundai expired. Guy at the check in desk was pretty rude. I asked him why the oil change was so expensive $89.00) He told me "if you read your owners manual you might figure that out ". What? To make this story end I will say this. I had a 2 pm appt. At 3:10 my car was still outside. I asked how much longer do you think it will be. Was told, it will be done when it's done. See ya, I left. FYI, I have been getting cars serviced at this location for 20 years. Only will go back if I have tire issues since I also have purchased many sets of firestone tires over the past 20 year.. While driving to Colorado Springs for vacation we realized somewhere into a six hour road trip that our a/c was struggling bad to keep up with the hot sun in Kansas. We triaged it (husband is a facility manager for some large tanker businesses). We changed out some air filters but the a/c still was hobbling around. Which made the second half of our trip quite toasty. Luckily for us, this Firestone was open on Sunday. We needed an a/c charge. We dropped it off in the morning at 8. They realized it had a small leak and sent someone out to pick up the parts. We were fixed by 1pm. Now not exactly how you want to start vacation but we felt safe in this area. We used it as an opportunity to explore downtown Colorado Springs. Had we known how long it would take (no one suspected a leak initially) we would've ventured down to Old Colorado City. Driving home now from vacation and the a/c is running well. We really appreciated them working us in on a Sunday. Plus they were friendly and gave us tips for things to check out on our trip. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this Firestone location. I went in to have them check my broken speedometer and replace my headlights with brand-new ones. They told me that replacing the headlights wasn't necessary because a lever for my brights was broken and the was the reason I was not able to see at night. However, this lever was not broken, and I was charged $120 for a diagnosis that was incorrect. Since I knew the lever wasn't an issue, I declined further service and only had them switch out the headlight bulbs. Regarding the speedometer, they claimed that the entire dashboard--including the RPM, speedometer, and fuel gauge--would need to be replaced at a cost of $1,500. I knew this didn't seem right because a friend had previously checked under my car, ran some tests, and determined it was just a loose wire that should be an easy fix. I went in for two simple issues and left with nothing fixed, a $250 bill, and 5 hours waisted. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. read more

This team is great. I came here after going on a road trip and having all the lights in my car come on. They were busy busy. They got me in and fixed up my car as fast as they could. I took my car in for an oil change through Hertz car rental and I had a valid ticket and I called to make an appointment and they never took my name. Once I got there they did not want to help me. He said he can't overload his one lube technician because they can't stay late, he refused to give me the bosses name and it was very poor customer service. I would not recommend going to fire stone on North Cascade. They do not want to help you so I wasted gas money and time to go there to get it oil change when he first he didn't want to help me second lied about my ticket not being valid and you would think that they're going to get paid so therefore you do they want to help but they don't . read more

Not sure why appointments are even a thing when it takes 30+ minutes just to get my car into the building. On top of it, went to get my husbands truck aligned (he purchased the lifetime alignment a while back) and they said it would be covered still. Well an hour+ later they come to tell me he doesn't need an alignment which is complete BS because it's been well over a year of travel, off roading and towing. So at this point I know they just don't feel like doing it. I decided to go to a different location where they were much friendlier and gladly did my alignment in less time than this place took to tell me I didn't need an alignment AND without an appointment. My car my car had a low tire pressures because of the cold weather. my wife came to get the tires inflated the store the store manager gave her the hose and told her you do it yourself (my wife is not a car guy was expected to learn this after one demonstration) I called to complain to Ashley and instead of being apologetic she said that there was nobody to help her and everybody was tied up but my wife said there was another guy who is approaching to help her and then backed away after the store manager behave as such. Bought $1,300.00 worth of "Blizzak Snow Tires" for my work truck That's 6 Tires. It's a dually. Paid and dropped truck off for install. Simple right? Two hours later I get a call that they don't have impact drivers big enough or strong enough to take my wheels off? I was very frustrated. I thought to myself? Firestone? A major tire store doesn't have the correct tools to do and finish a simple job? The manager then said to her shop manager, " We should just go buy it, it's a tool we obviously need " The shop manager explained the larger driver is $700.00 dollars and he didn't think it was a wise buy? These are 16" rims. A small 14' box truck, not a semi truck I thought. Why or how couldn't this store finish the job? So I wound up having to call around to other tire stores myself on my cell phone in front of them to find a tire shop to mount and balance their tires I bought. Finally, I found the "Tire King". A place on South Nevada ( Which I will leave a 5 Star ***** review for shortly was able to do the job). They had the right tools and the right men to complete Firestones job. The "Tire King" said the cost would be $ 150.00 to do what needed to be done. Firestone did credit me the difference from the price originally paid for the tires which was good that I bought from them, but the hassle and my time of having to run my truck around to another location on my only day off left a sour taste if you know what I mean. I guess Firestone is only good for little compact cars sporting 13" and 14" tires? I would ask first prior to buying if you have a 15" or 16" wheel, maybe or larger if their men and tools are able to do the job prior to buying. To avoid such a similar hassle. Next year when I winter up for Colorado's snow fall and icy roads, I will either just go to the Tire King, or maybe Tirerack.com and set it up better for me. Not Firestone. Sorry Firestone but you lost my business due to this and your shop manager should go back and take a 101 on customer service. read more

Pretty underwhelmed. Went in to have my tires rotated and transmission flushed. They didn't have the part they needed even though it was a scheduled service. A 2-hour job turned into a 6-hour job and completely threw my day off. $520 and they didn't even offer a discount for the screwup. Then, when I get the car back it's developed a shimmy because they didn't balance the wheels properly. I had to go back in to have them re-balance and it still didn't solve the problem. I won't be back, and I'll get my next set of tires from Les Schwab. I'd advise to steer clear of this place. read more

Don't waste your time here. I dropped my car off for a (scheduled) oil change and tire rotation today. When I called to see if they had an idea of when it would be done, I was told I "would be lucky if they got to it tomorrow." The guy on the phone told me it was an issue with corporate not allowing them to have more staff. I'm not going to point fingers, but when I went to pick up the car it looked like they had a lot of people in the garage. Drove the car straight to a Valvoline and got my oil changed in no time. Unless your just looking for a free parking lot in downtown Colorado Springs, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Absolutely abhorrent service and experience. Been a customer here for two years. Took my old Jeep in for an oil change. Spoke to service manager , Bernard at length prior to dropping off the car. Asked for a few things to be checked but only authorized the oil change. Told BERNARD, I'd be grabbing a burger a beer at a a nearby restaurant while I waited. This proceeded to turn into to a horrific ordeal. I called after 2 hours to find out the car had been easy but Bernard was trying to up-sell me to change a radiator house for 400$ When I Declined , he said 'you've been drinking we're calling the police'. I was literally dumbfounded. Is this really happening? Over the next few minutes there was quite a dance between me requesting to pay and leave and BERNARD attempting to hold my keys while talking to the police saying I was belligerent because I wouldn't pay for services I didn't authorize and HAD NOT EVEN BEEN PREFORMED YET. So, he tried to use ' oh you've been drinking righ?' As his excuse to come after me... . I was not at all drunk, I had ONE beer, and this all resulted from me declining to pay for a $400 hose replacement . That simple. Needless to say , this was terrible customer service, borderline extortion and as a repeat customer a loss of future business. I implore anyone to find another location for car service and to help ensure BERNARD uses a crosswalk or he might get hit by a vehicle. Who knows... . I suggest completely avoiding this location for any car repair needs. I have been following up with the corporate office and I'll update on how hat turns out. Stay FAR AWAY. read more

I live in Denver but work in the springs. I hit a curb near the office and blew two of my tires a block from Goodyear, who would not sell me only two tires even though my other two were brand new. So I got a tow to Firestone. They thought they had 4 of my tire but only had one and wouldn't have another until the next day. Understanding my distress, Adam made a call to another Firestone after they already technically closed to get them to drop off another tire that night so I could go home. Total lifesaver and I'm so grateful that they worked extra hard to save the day for me and keep me from sleeping in a hotel. read more

I took my truck in for a coolant leak. They said they would be able to get it done that day. I called them around 4pm to check on the progress and was told they got backed up and it would be ready the next day. The next morning I got a phone call informing me my truck had been broken into and they asked if I had anything in the front seat. I told them no but I had a back pack behind the seat. They looked and it was gone. I also had a storage box in the bed and they said was still there. That said they had to order a new passenger window and they would get right on it. The window didn't come in until the next morning. When they called and said it was done they informedr it would be another $90 I said no. I asked why it had not been taken inside and was told they didn't have room. They do not have security cameras. This is a very high crime rate area with tons of homeless folks. They told me to contact my insurance company. Appears they don't have insurance for cars that are broken into. Be very careful of taking your vehicle there. If you do have to take your vehicle there be sure to remove anything of value. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. These guys are pure con artists. Had a flat tire so I came here since I have firestone tires and they said they would try to patch it, and told me it would take 4 hours so to just leave the tire. Then after two hours they called and said it's too big of a hole to be patched and since it's AWD, I have to get all new tires so they match so it's going to be over $450. LUCKILY I didn't believe them and took my tire somewhere else and they patched it for $15 and they said it's good as new. thanks for nothing! read more

Today we had a decent snow storm and I called Firestone on North Cascade to see if I could get snow tires. Sun answered the phone and was extremely professional, friendly and prompt on getting me an appointment! I arrived to the shop and was taken care of immediately. I own a fleet vehicle (company car) and Sun went to bat for me when the fleet company questioned why I needed snow tires. Thank you so much for your great customer service!!! Dropped off vehicle on a Saturday for an alignment, wheel balance and rotate. I had no appointment but they were glad to accommodate me so long as I dropped it off by noon. I'm not gonna lie I was approximately 10 minutes late. Got there, got a copy of my paperwork and was assured it would be done before the end of the day. Since I haven't received a call and it was around 40 minutes before closing I decided to call them and find out if I need to start heading over. Person I spoke with apologized and said that the person that's suppose to work on it won't be in until tomorrow. Ok, whatever. I'm not a difficult customer. They ended up keeping it overnight. Next day around 1 pm I still haven't gotten a call so decided to check up if my truck has been worked on. Lady on the phone said, oh you didn't get our message? Your truck's been ready. C'mon down. Ok no biggie. I get there first thing I look at is if the tires have been rotated. I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Tires in the back still had the tires that wear evenly compared to the fronts, since the fronts experience turns. I start heading over inside to the front desk and ask if my truck is actually done. They have the paperwork having work done but last time I brought it in it had paperwork for the alignment. This time they didn't have one. So first of all, tires weren't rotated. Its safe to assume checking wheel balance more than likely wasn't done. I think some alignment was done as it was better than I had drop it off but not so sure if it was actually placed on the machine. Tonight, since I don't trust these places, I double checked if the nuts were torqued down to specs and they were with the exception of the adjusting sleeve. You see, on the drag link adjusting sleeve there is a locking bar that acts much like a cotter pin. It's job is to prevent the adjusting sleeve from turning. Well, it was bent and it wasn't even inserted correctly or tightened down. So now, I'm not even sure if my alignment is still within specs. Gonna try to look for a different location to have my alignment checked again. Hopefully, there's a location that isn't as shady as this place. read more

I brought my car in for a routine oil change and asked that they check the brakes while they had it because they had recently begun to squeak a little. I received a call a short while later from a woman informing me that my brakes were metal on metal and needed to be replaced immediately. She said that I shouldn't be driving around in the car, let alone putting my kids in it, that it was too dangerous. I was given a quote for roughly $700 to replace all rotors and pads and sent on my way. I went home and pulled the tires off myself, (I hadn't had the time before) and looked at the brakes myself. I needed to replace only my front pads, all four rotors and the back brake pads were practically brand new. I replaced the brake pads myself for about $50 and was on my way. I contacted the store manager to express my concern with their using scare tactics to get me to have unnecessary work done and never heard back. I definitely will not be returning to any Firestone locations, because I do not want to be lied to and manipulated again. read more

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I went in for a new set of tires - nothing else. I chose this store based on price alone. When I picked up my car, I was told I have an oil and coolant leak and I'll need to bring it back for more service. I had a major oil leak fixed earlier in the year with a trusted mechanic I've used for years, and everything under the hood is brand new because of it. The same mechanic changed my oil a month ago and said everything is still looking great. When I got home from Firestone I opened up my hood to find my oil cap is completely missing. My husband drove back to get it from them and talk to a manager who told him that they didn't have it and, since I signed off on a "courtesy check," it wasn't his problem. Update 10/14/17 - This just keeps getting worse. I checked my fluid levels last night before bed and my coolant was completely empty. Supposedly they filled it due to the "leak." There's nothing on my garage floor, so it didn't just spill out. My radiator and water pump are brand new due to the aforementioned oil leak repair, which leads me to believe this was either intentional or sheer negligence. I cannot express how disgusted I am by this company. read more

This Firestone location has been my go-to shop for years now. Bernard, Sun, and Jeremy are always courteous and take the time to answer my numerous questions and give me advice. I've gotten tires and most of my service done here, and on the occasions where something wasn't perfect or I had trouble, they promptly fixed it for me--usually at no charge, since things were under warranty. Having a mechanic I can trust goes a long way to making car maintenance less stressful. read more
