Bad service! I wanted to try this place out bcuz it has great views. As I'm looking around, trying to figure out what to get. I see a man leaving without saying anything and other man right behind the grill telling me something in Spanish which I don't even understand him bcuz I don't speak Spanish nor am I hispanic I don't even look Hispanic so either this guy is really blind or dumb. After he told me in proper English which is what he should have started with in the first place, saying that they're closed bcuz they're shorty staff. If you have to close early due to shortage that's fine and understandable. But don't be assuming that anyone in the mall speaks and foreign language. We were in the area doing some shopping and found Firegrill through Yelp. I was excited about their cuisine, as it appeared like American food but then also had some Mexican options. They are located in the food court of the mall. It's shared, open seating and the day we went was just before the Christmas holiday, so was definitely busy. Our food came out relatively quickly and the price was affordable for a quick lunch in the mall! My husband really likes the buffalo chicken sandwich. I thought the loaded bowl was delicious and I was able to specify spicy sauce. I would definitely go back if we are in the area! Fire grill is located at the food court at the mall in Santa Maria. My son and I were traveling and used the Tesla chargers at the mall so we got some lunch. My son got the loaded fries with grilled chicken. They were okay, not a lot of flavor. I ordered the Rodeo Char burger. The meat was really good. It was a half chicken half brisket meat mixture. Burgers are sold by themselves. You can order fries or onions on the side if you want. Overall it was a nice spot for lunch. read more

The mall around is pretty mello and the server was chill. The food was alright. The quality was not super good but at the same time it wasn't bad. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which hit the spot. The bun and condiments were really good but the chicken tasted cheap like the type I would get when I was back in high school, and same goes to the buffalo sauce on it. The most recent experience I had was not so great. The cashier lady isn't welcoming for starters, but the issue wasmy order was wrong and when I called they didn't care to offer anything and didn't even apologize. Super inconvenient, especially for those that can't come back to have the order fixed. The front cashier (might be the owners wife) needs some training in customer service asap read more

Saw the place on a local Central Coast Facebook Page, and it looked good so I thought I'd give it a shot. This place is where formerly Deckers was in the Mall. The Tri-tip sandwich I took to-go was incredible, for a new place they really have their stuff down already! I think the sandwich was better than some of the famous local spots like Firestone or Blast, I definitely would recommend checking it out. Can't say about the drink selection as I didn't get one. I will be coming back for more and checking out some of the other menu items next time. read more

I know this place is new, but I asked if they were open it looked like they were barely opening and the worker told me yeah we are open but give me a few minutes, it just seemed like she didn't want to be bothered and wasn't friendly. A more appropriate response would of been we are just setting up give us five minutes or let me know if you have questions about the menu.
