The theater has a great intimate feel (it seats about 320) and fantastic acoustics. Parking: Free parking is available. Lots C, D and E are conveniently located near Stillwell theatre. For weekday and weeknight visits please allow plenty of time for parking during these high volume times. Weekday visitors should always park in the visitor area of Lot B. If you're a theater junkie like me then you would enjoy some of the high quality productions put on here by the students. I have fond memories of coming here as a high school students and working on some of the summer productions here. (I remember we ate tons of snacks constantly and drank an ungodly amount of mountain dew...) If you go towards the back you can see framed posters from their past productions. The room is plenty big enough to "social distance" the seating and allow everyone to decide for themselves on masks. I also noticed some on stage wearing face shields and others not wearing them. Is it optional for them or are they requiring proof of vaccination to determine who gets to go without?

We came here last week to see Matilda The Musical. Overall, I think Jennie T. Anderson Theatre is…read morea good small venue for local theater groups. This 606 seat performing arts theater is part of the Cobb County Civic Center complex. The main parking lot is huge, so there shouldn't be a parking issue for any production or event at the theater. The lobby, in my opinion, is way too small for the theater. We showed up an hour before show time, and got our tickets from the impromptu Will Call table. There were some padded benches in the middle of the tiny lobby, so we, and 14 other people, sat there until the theater doors were opened about 30 minutes before the performance. Theater goers continued to enter the lobby, and it got so noisy and packed that people walking by kept brushing up against me, and a few of them actually stepped on my shoes while I was sitting. Like I stated, the lobby is way too small for the theater. I think that they should limit the number of people allowed in the lobby. When both sets of doors leading from the lobby to the theater (one set of doors on each side of the lobby) opened, people started streaming out of the lobby. We walked into the theater to find our seats, which were towards the back of the theater. Nice padded seats! There are only 17 rows of seats, and everyone has a clear view of the stage. ADA seating is allowed in the first and last rows, where there are no steps. However, everyone in the other rows need to be able to walk up and down steps to get to and from their seats. The sound system is very good, as is the lighting. From what I saw the theater is well maintained. This is a nice place to see shows without having to pay big bucks.

Not NYC Broadway quality but great by local standards. Most recently (12/21/19) we saw "Home for the Holidays". Good musical production of local talent. Numerous performers from the Cobb County Center for excellence in the performing arts, with a band on stage for musical accompaniment. Great variety of holiday songs and dancing. We were seated in the LAST row for this show, but still had great view of the stage as the theatre is relatively small. Several pictures are enclosed. Easy to find location. Plenty of free parking. Easy access to I-75. One note: This theartre is also called "Jennie T. Anderson Theatre". Am surprised I am first to review this fine place.

The seats also used to be clean and in great condition. I'm not sure what has happened, but the last two times we've visited, the condition of the seats has noticeably declined. Today, the middle seat in the row I purchased had ripped upholstery, a brown stain, and the cushion looked wet and sticky. Thankfully, there were only six other people in the theater, so we were able to move to different seats. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful. I just hope the theater addresses the condition of the seats, as it used to be much better maintained.

A Hidden Gem for Family Fun in Hiram!…read more I was visiting my 8-year-old godson, Julian, from DC and wanted to take him somewhere new and exciting--and Outrageous Mini Golf totally delivered! This was his first time playing mini golf and he loved it. The haunted house theme was super fun and surprisingly well done, with great lighting effects and decorations that kept us both entertained the whole way through. After golf, we spent a couple more hours in the arcade and tried the VR experience, which was a huge hit. He said it was his favorite part... right after beating me twice at the basketball game. Shout out to Tyler F. who was super patient helping us get everything set up, and to Jason, the owner, who personally showed Julian how to hold and swing the golf club on the first few holes--such a thoughtful touch. It was a Wednesday night, so we had the place almost to ourselves, and the pricing was really reasonable for everything we got to do. I'm already planning to tell his parents this would be a perfect spot for his 9th birthday party. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Georgia--maybe even without a kid in tow! Definitely recommend for a fun, laid-back, affordable outing!
