There are lots of nice antique stores and restaurants along the main street of this town. It's home to the Olmos Circle, which is an eyesore of a turnabout in the middle of McCullough and Olmos. It used to be a fountain, but that plan nearly turned deadly several times. The city has its own fire department, trash pickup, city government, and police department. The new city hall was paid for by speeding tickets. Beware driving down McCullough. The speed limit is 30, and they'll bust you for doing a mile over it. In the side streets, speed limit is now 25! They'll get you- so just watch out! It's a beautiful neighborhood with sprawling mansions and giant lots, and makes a great neighborhood to go jogging in.

There is a roundabout circle on McCullough Ave. that was probably designed for when the city first came about. It seems out of place now in modern times. They probably had in mind a constant flow of traffic without having people to stop. Not a lot of people know how to use these things these days. Just slow down into the circle, look left and yield. He even told everyone to have a wonderful day, and I don't think I've ever heard an associate say that other than an employee at the other USPS office I drive to, it is 20 minutes to downtown, which is the location I usually send my packages from, but it truly means a lot! I drove 15 minutes to this USPS office despite living 5 minutes from one because of how not friendly my local one is, which is why I visit different locations often. NO I dropped a self-addressed pre-paid envelope in one of the mailboxes in the parking lot. (There are three.) That envelope, containing an endorsed check, took 10 days to be delivered to its destination near UTSA. My New Year's resolution: do not put your trust in this branch of the USPS.
