    My parents' house in Kentwood, MI recently just had some water damage that pretty much destroyed…read moreour entire 1st floor. We had to get the place blown and dried out, replace all the woods, our basement was leaked as well. My parents called ServiceMaster and was helped by Jared Huisken, the owner. This was the very first time my family had experienced anything like this since we owned the house, and had no experience in anything including disaster response, clean up, or calling and claiming insurance. Jared was extremely nice and helpful to my parents, told my parents exactly what goes into the estimation and what any insurance would be able to (but will never inform them) to cover. He walked us through the entire process with the kindness of his heart and including all the details that my family wouldn't even consider or thought of, especially in time of crisis like this. His team of professionals were quick, fast, and knew exactly what they were doing in order to help my family get through some unexpected events like this. Thank you for all of your help, we appreciate services like your and the "going-above-and-beyond" attitude that puts our family's perspective in mind.     I hired Ed Benavides to help me with my Allstate fire Claim that happened 12/26/2018. I did not…read morehire him until after my first lowball settlement check was sent to me in my name alone from Allstate before hiring Ed. Ed Benavides gave me poor advice and told me not to accept it and send it back to Allstate. So I did. It was only so Ed could charge me 8% on all settlement checks even this very first check. This is not good advice that is looking out for my best interest of his customer. It was in his best interest only! Next, from the time I signed on the dotted line of hiring Ed Allstate sent Ed the final payout checks. Two checks one equaling $140,000 and one $27,000. I only owed Ed $10,000. He held both of my large Allstate settlement checks for well over 6 months or so not at all looking out for my best interest. I was unable to put my home back together in a timely manner and Allstate would no longer pay for my rental because my problems with my public adjuster was not their problems whether my home was done or not. This caused me great hardship and grief. Ed caused me extreme mental anguish for a very very long time. He is not looking out for the best interest of us vulnerable customers looking for help.. He is only looking to get as much money as he can get in any shape or form no matter what it takes in his own best interest no matter if it hurts your livelihood or not. He had me sign a release form that in one paragraph states I'm not to make a bad review about their company or I will be sued. I fell for this tactic for a while but I came to my senses 2.5 years later realizing that if all my statements are true I cannot be sued. I just want to share my horrible experience with the public. I do not want anyone going through what I went through. PS Amy Edward's bad review is very accurate of my experience as well.

They treat folks RIGHT!…read more Had a very bad experience with another clean-up and restoration company based in Dearborn (which was Servpro-Dearborn who I do NOT recommend - see my Yelp review about them). However, weDry Restoration were much more attentive, better priced, did a much better job, and were friendlier. They were very understanding to the needs elderly parents's flooded basement the area recently had. My parents are in their 80's, and, could not have been more happier with weDry Restorations, and neither could I.

    I had a great experience with weDry Restoration. I had first contacted a different company due to a…read moremold smell in one of our bedroom closets. The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.
