Even though I owned a house here for 9 years that was an income property, I never seriously considered to live in it. Thought I'd live in Sonoma until I died. Well, at the behest of my adoptive Roseville family and the urging of my wife I capitulated to move. And after 10 months of being here I'm diggin' it. I actually like Roseville with an 85% approval rating. I like the excellent infrastructure. The roads are mostly in excellent condition. The tap water is drinkable without crinkling my nose. There's tons of retail for anything I could possible need or want. Lots of good mom n' pop reasonably priced restaurants. I have no children, my neighbors who do give the public school system high approval. Only have one major complaint: The driving habits of the local denizens is horrible to the max. Driving the 4 lane wide surface streets often feels like a demolition derby. Too many speeders, too many sudden lane cut-offs that make me jam on the brakes. The massive size pick up driving good ole' boys are the absolute worst. They drive like it's their constitutional right to commit vehicular manslaughter and laugh about it afterwards. My life long Roseville resident 34 year old nephew has been seriously rear ended twice in the past two months by teenagers who were texting while driving. Can't wait until 100% autonomous vehicles become the vehicle norm. Maybe I'll just start walking everywhere but then again I'd fear for my life every time I enter a crosswalk. Love y'a Roseville. My fellow citizens please drive like you respect the lives of others.

OR, MAYBE NOT BEING MADE WHOLE AFTER 3-MONTHS IS THEIR RETRIBUTION TOWARDS ME. Please read on... I am surprised that there are not way more very poor reviews for these slumlords. I have posted the following on my FB page, as well: "CRISIS AT GRASS VALLEY MOBILE  HOME VILLAGE!" GRASS VALLEY, CA. A little background: On JULY 26, 2018 (in 102° heat,) there was a massive power surge caused by WATERHOUSE PROP MGMT and their ineffectiveness at  maintaining the park's power grids. They would rather allow the onsite *manager, J.P.* (I use that term loosely because all he is, has ever been, and will always be, in the 18 yrs I have lived here, is a HANDYMAN at the very least) TRYING to fix things rather than pay a qualified electrical contractor to fix the  problems. They put BAND-AIDS on any and all real problems, as they also did with this electrical nightmare. I digress. Twenty-eight (28) to thirty (30) mobile homes were plunged into darkness! One vacant home caught fire but was quickly extinguished by our fire department. The smell of burnt/fried electronics in my home was overwhelming! The fire department made a 3 sweeps thru my home in the following days, to make sure there were no fires in the walls. Some of the outlets were still *hot*  but it was residual heat. I spent the first night (WEDNESDAY) sitting in darkness in the sweltering heat. The residents had NOT been advised of what happened, much less, what they were doing about it! On THURSDAY morning, I got on my FB page and alerted people in NEVADA COUNTY, CA, of the "CRISIS AT THE GRASS VALLEY MOBILE HOME VILLAGE" as it had, indeed, turned into a CRISIS! After I made people aware of this crisis on my FB feed, I went to a store in town to recharge the batteries my on my cell phone & tablet. My home phones had been *fried* from the power surge and who KNEW how long it would take for MGMT to get us up and running. They certainly were NOT telling us a damned thing! While I was in the store recharging my batteries, I started reading the *comments* to my plea for HELP! (I was going to try to organize an enormous evacuation by myself and worried about the logistics of doing this on my 10-minute drive back to the park.) WHICH MOBILES WERE WITHOUT POWER IN SWELTERING HEAT? HOW MANY PEOPLE NEEDED TO GET TO A *COOLING* CENTER!? HOW COULD/WOULD I GET THOSE PEOPLE TO A *COOLING* CENTER!? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEIR PETS!?" ASIDE: I came to find out that there are NO *COOLING* CENTERS in NEVADA COUNTY! When I arrived at the park, EVERY emergency agency in NEVADA COUNTY was onsite! OES! OES/FIRE DEPT! CRISIS MANAGERS! ADULT PROTECTIVE SVCS! EMTS! WHEW! The Calvary had arrived! Why were they onsite to handle this crisis? Because a one-time-candidate who ran for the Nevada City Council read my plea, forwarded it to the Board of Supervisors and that kicked them into taking action! Do you want to know what the onsite manager (J.P.) said to me as the emergency services were coordinating an evacuation? "WHY THE F**K DID YOU GET THE COUNTY INVOLVED!" I replied, "BECAUSE THIS IS A F***KING CRISIS!" While in town and reading the comments, I received a comment from the owner of a very nice hotel in GRASS VALLEY. He would open some rooms for those of us who needed to  get out and he would allow pets! I scurried back to the park to give this wonderful news to the woman who works in the office when I saw her working with the emergency departments. At that time, she had no clue as to why ALL the ER departments were onsite. I gave her the hotel info and suggested that she get J.C. (one of the owners) on the phone so he could send WATERHOUSE PROP MGMT'S credit card info to the hotel, because I intended to notify (right now!) those who I KNEW were suffering and let them know there was a safe place for them and their pets to go! The residents of this slum-like park are living BELOW the poverty-level. Some are elderly, disabled, single-families. Did WATERHOUSE PROP MGMT care that some of his residents were in dire straits? Not one iota! My income is way below poverty-level. I lost a great deal of food and electronics. I will NEVER AGAIN be able to afford to re-stock the food that rotted in my small chest freezer, the top freezer in my fridge, and the already-opened food in my fridge much less replace the electronics that, including my microwave, *fried!* IT IS OCTOBER 17, 2018 AND WATERHOUSE PROP MGMT HAS YET TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO COVER OUR LOSSES! THREE MONTHS IN WATERHOUSE! YOUR BILL FROM ME IS GETTING HIGHER!

This scope of work was new to me so I needed some hand holding and Brian was so patient with me. We had some delays on the client's end and Brian was incredibly professional, understanding and flexible. Once we we were able to get underway with the work, Brian and Nick worked tirelessly during the installation. I was impressed they took a lot of photos along the way to show the progress of the system. It only took a couple of days, and I was very impressed with the thorough testing they did after installation was complete. Any minor tweaks or adjustments were handled quickly and efficiently. They walked the client and I through how to use the pool pump and accessing the app with ease. All the neighbors looked on in envy so I'm hoping this is a service that homeowners in LA will look into. It's more affordable than one would think and a worthwhile service that you hope you never have to use, but will be grateful if you have it. There are a small handful of people offering this service in LA, I would encourage you to do your research, ask a lot of questions and compare estimates. I went with Brian largely because he was very direct and straightforward. He didn't try to "sell" me on a lot of bells and whistles like other vendors did. On the contrary, he explained those bells and whistles and gave sound reasoning why he wasn't on board with certain technology. But his biggest draw is he is an active firefighter and not only knows how things go down in a fire in terms of flighting it, but he'll tell you about where the water is coming from within the city and what you can and maybe cannot rely on from city resources, which is very important and sadly something we learned in the January 2025 fires. It's one of the reasons why we also went with the pool pump to help with additional water if need be to utilize our own resources at home. I'm happy to talk in detail about my experience, so don't hesitate to reach out to me.
