Marie brought me to quite a few places and asked a lot of questions, made observations and helped me assess whether each was a fit or not. Marie brought me to places in my price range that were a good fit. Some were even at the very low end of my range and still acceptable. Given there weren't many places on the market this was amazing. It was telling when we bumped into some other potential buyers in the lobby of a building where there was one unit on the market. I was surprised when the other couple did not show up at the same unit. They went to one that had gone under agreement the day before, while Marie was on top of the latest listings and brought me to see the one that had just come back on the market. It was a good deal and a good fit so I made the offer that day and ended up buying it. In this market timing is everything and Marie has it. She answered my questions by email or phone, day or night. I am confident I did not miss out on anything. When we finally found the right fit, it was a short sale. So Marie prepared me to be patient with the process. She pushed all the right people behind the scenes to keep the process in motion while giving the old owner some leeway in getting clear. I was very pleased with how it all turned out. I got a bargain that met all my criteria for commute, number of rooms, ease of maintenance, etc. Even after the sale Marie continues to help me find the people that will help me fix the place up on a shoestring. I highly recommend Marie as a real estate agent.

It's been a crazy summer with moving twice in such a short amount of time but it couldn't have been a better experience and we are so glad that we had Nick Mescia as our agent. Nick was kind, respectful, and attentive. We never felt like we were competing for his time and in fact we were so grateful for how often he checked in with us! He was excellent at communicating with us and always responsive and patient with all our questions and requests. Ultimately whether as a buyer or seller you want an agent who has your best interests in mind and that was 100% clear working with Nick from start to finish. Excellent professional and more importantly a kind person of high character. We recommend Nick to anyone looking for a realtor especially in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville/Medford area. We will definitely be sending our friends who are looking to buy/sell his way!

He is exceptionally knowledgeable in all areas of the business and an extremely enjoyable person to work with! We were inexperienced, first time buyers. Before going to view any houses, Nick took the time to get to know us and get to know the sort of house we wanted to buy. Within a week, he was driving us to potential houses that we personally selected. When we saw these houses, none of them seemed to tick all the boxes for us. Not to be deterred, Nick suggested we view one that we had completely missed/disregarded in our initial screens. It seemed Nick knew us better than we did, as we fell in love with it straight away! I think what is really great about his service is he got to know us, and he understood what our interests were. He was very non-judgmental of our (often) picky needs but was unafraid to offer some advice from his own vast experience. That enabled him to suggest this wonderful house. We both absolutely fell in love with the place. Everything from the house itself to the garden and location were just perfect for our needs and our son adores it! In addition to finding us the house of our dreams, Nick was ever-present during all stages of the house buying process. Most importantly, he held our hand during the offer/negotiation. Being total newbies, we had no idea what sort of price to initiate with and how to properly access value/potential of a property. Therefore, it was so helpful having Nick to act on our behalf and he managed to secure a deal well under the initial asking price. If that wasn't enough, he advised us on building inspectors, mortgage advisors, attorneys, and even painters and contractors for when we signed for the house! In addition to his outstanding expertise, we had an awful lot of fun working with him! He's a great guy! Once again, we are so grateful to Nick and his superb real estate service. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I would do it for Nick!

We really appreciated his in-depth knowledge about the area and about houses - whenever we toured a home, he did a great job pointing out pros and cons about each place (for example, he talked us out of a place that needed more work done than we realized!). He was always very responsive via text and email and happy to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. With his help we managed to successfully stand out among ~20 bids for a home and buy within 2 months of searching! We weren't even the highest bid on the house, but he helped us figure out how to stand out despite it all. He is such a kind and honest person and we cannot recommend him enough.

She found it in this. So we went with Rion rather than find a buying broker. Of course if we were going to buy a new place we had to sell our old place. and we decided we'd go with Rion for that as well He researched the market and told us what he thought the value was. We picked a number and cleared the condo we were living in enough to so Rion could have open houses (on two weekends it turned out) while we were vacationing in CA. By the time we got back we had an offer on our place. Rion worked with us while our bank slowly eked out its approval and kept us appraised. I highly recommend Rion Manita.

His expertise and support not only helped us make good decisions, but feel confident in our choices - which really matters when you're making the largest financial decision of your life (so far). We really appreciated Dave's attention to detail, sense of humor, and clear dedication to our best interests. 4 Buyers Real Estate's policies reflect the ethical stance that Dave shared with us in his initial pitch. Agents are paid based on the listing price or the sale price - whichever is less. This means that agents aren't incentivized to push the sale price higher to improve their fee. We also agreed up front that we would not waive the inspection in our offers. This meant that we had to do a few pre-inspections in competitive situations, but they were worth the price we paid for the peace of mind. Go through the details when you talk to 4 Buyer's Real Estate. You'll see that they've set up their company to encourage ethical behavior and to support their clients best interests - which means that you can know and feel like you have an ally as you buy your new home. If we ever need to buy another property, we're calling Dave again!
