Review is for the Antiques store and for the area it is in. We were wandering around after lunch and just trying to find somewhere to burn time. I like seeing old things and European antique stores have another level of old compared to American ones so we decided to come.
It's on the west side of Glasgow and in an area down an alley called "Hidden Lane". I would say this is a must visit if you are into the unique and interesting. Besides this store, there are also small indie shops with items you will only find in this area such as ceramics, knitwear, vintage clothes, etc.... It all had a cool and artsy vibe and we really enjoyed our time walking around this area. I liked the ceramics store a lot but no one was inside when we went.
Antiques store, its set up like a consignment store with different themes inside of locked glass display cases. If you are interested in something you can ask the proprietor to show you more. We were just window shopping but I saw some interesting watches as well as small Freemason pins and some captured Nazi memorabilia.
There is a downstairs that is less organized as well as a side room with some asian themed antiques. We easily spent 20 minutes here and it was fun to see all the old jewerly, clothing, art, and electronics read more
