Time to finally give my realtor the shout out he deserves!…read more Justin became my realtor after I talked his ear off about my homebuying plans and timeline at a New Year's eve party, roughly 10 months before I even began looking at houses. He was patient and knowledgeable and didn't rush me, but was sure to stay on my radar and check in with me every couple of months. Once I hit my pre-downpayment savings goal, and paid off my student loans and was ready to start looking in earnest, I sent Justin an email and we got the ball rolling. And things got moving FAST. Justin put me in contact with a few mortgage lenders so I could get pre-approved and decide who I would be choosing as my originator. As soon as I did that...we got my musts listed and an MLS search set up. And y'all, things moved FAST! The area I was looking to buy in is very desirable so I knew to be ready to put in an offer at any moment...but also many listing were under contract before I could tell Justin I was interested in a viewing! You gotta move fast and know what you want! I ended up putting in an offer, and ultimately buying, the fourth house I looked at. Only about a week after I started the looking process. And because of the timing of everything, things had to move FAST. Both Justin and I had vacation plans over Thanksgiving to be out of the state or country, so we needed to shake a leg on getting the back and forth offers, inspection, repair requests, concessions and acceptances going! He arranged and scheduled the inspection with a team he knew could get it done by the end of the week (which was nice and quick, but it meant I didn't really shop around or get recommendations on other inspectors and I hope he has a different go-to team now as they missed a pretty major thing). And when we were both out of town, he arranged for a colleague to be my contact for the next two weeks of back and forths. Justin, and the colleague who helped me for those two weeks, were patient with me and were happy to explain literally every single sentence in every single document to me, to make sure I understood everything I was reading before I did it. Because I was a first-time home-buyer, and that is not something one does lightly or without crazy uncertainty and anxiety! I was utterly clueless, and he was willing to metaphorically hold my hand and make sure I was confident in what I was doing. He absolutely was the reason I was calmer than I ever expected I would be through the whole process! He is very available, by which I mean I was able to contact him via email, phone or text and he was always quick to respond. And I know if I had a question about something house-related right now, a full year later, I could shoot him a message right now and if he knew the answer he wouldn't hesitate to offer some help. I would absolutely recommend Justin for anyone in need of a realtor! Hopefully I don't need his services again anytime soon, but if I did I would not hesitate to go back to him!

I couldn't recall the specific questions that I've asked Justin but I was very impressed every time with his depth of knowledge in real estate, as well as his knowledge of both the current and future markets. 2. Timely communication - Justin amazed me by how he was still able to respond to my emails, phone calls, texts in a very timely manner in addition to frequent updates about where we were in our process to ease my anxieties-- this was especially exceptional because I work third shift, travel lots and I was able to leave a lot in his hands and know that it would be taken care of and be updated regarding the process. Care - this is another area where Justin went above and beyond. A month after closing, a dishwasher broke at the house I moved from and was currently renting out, I posted something online asking if anyone knew someone that could fix dishwashers, Justin reached out to me and I thought it was because he maybe thought it was at the house I had just moved into but he knew it was the condo and was willing to come out and fix my tenants dishwasher within 24 hours.
