This company is Absolutely terrible to deal with. DO NOT do business with them, I was promised my…read moreshutters in 6 to 8 weeks it took them nearly 17 weeks, the installer came out alone and I had to spend half a day up on a ladder helping the installer FIT the shutters as he needed a second set of hands to hold them. After all this they provided me with the WRONG color (wasn't out by a huge amount was still grey, but the wrong grey) after all this I tried to come to a compromise with them as obviously I wished to have the shutters either re done in the right color to match everything else or some sort of discount for the much around, they offered a few hundred dollars off a $17,000 job. When I said that wasn't acceptable I wanted them to do something better they assumed I was trying to dodge the bill, were extremely rude and unprofessional, emailed me back and said they are removing the good will discount of a few hundred and if I didn't pay in 24 hours they would add a near $1800 late fee, I responded to them and said that wasn't acceptable I'm waiting for the general manager to come up with a fair middle ground instead I got send a new invoice with the $1800 fee added and the next morning was forwarded to E Collect a debt collection agency they use. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from what looks to be a good company. I will be pursuing this further, but in my honest opinion I would steer clear of these people. I have had shutters done on my two other houses and never had any issues like this before. I have also worked in the sales and building industry for well over a decade and have never seen a company treat its customers like this. They took $5400 deposit so they have some of the money and they will not come to a fair arrangement. To put it into perspective from memory I was only asking for approx another $1000 off the price of the total job to make it fair and Instead this is how I get treated. Ultimate shutter you are the ultimate customer service failures.

After my initial call and message he contacted me straight away and said he would come and give me a quote. Really nice guy,friendly and affable,he got into the job straight away,he really knew what he was talking about and was truly keen on getting the job completed to our satisfaction. Shane even made a few suggestions as to how to improve the job even more than we had thought of and the end result was fantastic. He is a genuinely nice guy and a great worker,just a family man doing the best for his family and doing amazing work at the same time. His final invoice price was fair and there were no upfront fees for anything and no stress about paying in a certain time frame. It was one invoice I was more than happy to pay and will certainly call him again should the need arise for more work.

Firstly, he is an open, honest and approachable guy and in the initial discussions, he was able to offer solutions to questions we had and help with practical guidelines. Once the work began, he was always punctual, and we quickly learned that he was easy to get on with and worked well with the other trades on the job. Most importantly, his considerable experience in working on old homes in England meant that his work was thorough, with close attention to detail, and there were no shortcuts. He brings an expertise in windows which added to the quality of our renovation. He was happy to listen to us when we had queries and we were impressed with his problem solving skills and willingness to work through options to determine the best outcome.
