In our neighborhood is the same street name as ours but we have a Rd, Dr, and Ave. What makes it worse is our house number is also the same as our Dr and Ave houses. Over the years we have owned a few business and the Inman Post Office and specifically Nikkie has consistently caught our mail when addressed to the wrong road extension. When I go into the post office everyone at the counter always greets you with a smile and conversation. The clerk behind the service desk ask me this question: What is an international money order? She never heard of that before. I informed her nicely that the post office in my hometown said that they would have them. She said again that she'd never heard anything about them and reiterated that fact. If anyone would like to see how lousy and inefficient our Congress in WashingtonD.C. is; I would suggest a visit to customer service at any location! Both are federal institutions that rely on our tax dollars to survive as they produce no revenue on their own!

The worst customer service I have ever received…read more Unfortunately this is my local post office and when I have to ship things I usually go out of my way to go downtown simply because downtown the customer service is excellent and they're typically faster. This post office sends my mail to a house that isn't even registered with my house number and I have been battling back and forth with Christy about it. Not only do they send my mail to the wrong house - they send me my neighbors mail and packages as well. I have gone back and forth for months saying the house down the street is receiving my mail (whom just moved) so because they moved they have been sending MY MAIL back to the sender. What does that mean? It means I don't get my package and I have to fight with the people I ordered from to get a refund. Four times. They have returned my mail to senders four times AFTER KNOWING who I am and where I live. It gets better. Christy promised me that she would HOLD MY MAIL at the post office and what happens? They send it off anyways (one of them to be returned to sender same day) and the other one I waste an hour at the post office for everyone to look dumbfounded about where my package is at. An hour later I get told that it's with a carrier, that her boss overrides what she says. If that's the case, don't promise someone you'll hold their mail for it to be in the air. The best part is that they want me to "prove" that my address is the address that is has. I was sent off with a piece of paper with a phone number to reach the manager which coincidentally "is out of order."

The help is very nice and friendly. They do close for lunch between 12:15-1:15. The only thing I wish is that they had a machine here to do your own packages. Not only did he help with sending my package off, but he was also very helpful in suggesting different restaurants to try since I haven't been in the area since 2007. So, the Post Office is very clean, small, yet very efficient. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and it would have been shorter, if I had my item boxed and ready to ship.
