BioWhorl is a locally owned and operated business that has been around for 14 years The office building it is in has several offices. There is parking in the front, adjacent to it, but limited for the amount of office space there is. At the bottom of the office building there is a gym. The office itself is open and has a nice waiting room area and activities for kids that you might have in tow with you when you come to get printed. I believe fingerprint cards are available also. The woman who assisted me was pleasant, efficient, and cordial. She even fixed some prints that the software they used were indicating had a "scan error" even though they were accepted by the program. I was given a paper receipt showing my payment with my identifying number for my prints if I had an issue with the agency I'm dealing with that ordered the prints and also a receipt for payment via Square. I was happy and it was a pleasant surprise than it was less than I expected! I REALLY wanted to give BioWhorl 5 stars. I unfortunately had to deduct a star because no one seems to answer the phone and although no appointment is necessary or required, I came during a time when there was a change in staff and I had to wait...not knowing if they were closed or not (the only place to wait is a narrow hallway with no seating whatsoever). I'm not sure if there is supposed to be this lag time, however on the weekly printed schedule (yes, the schedule changes weekly so reference their website), there is no break listed in the times and no sign was left either. This was frustrating. I spoke to the guy in the office next door and he says he frequently sees several people waiting outside the door. I'm not sure if that's a common problem or issue but I feel like it is. It's courteous to leave a note, modify the schedule to indicate there may not be someone there for a period of time, or indicate to wait at the door on the website if you go there and knock and there is no one answering the door and it's locked. I almost left, thinking they had closed for the day, but ended up taking a walk and the staff came within ten minutes. End rant :) I thought prices with reasonable and I would go back.
