Then the second time I came in, to actually buy beer, I was clearly looking lost still and another attendant asked if I needed help and walked me to locate my Coronaritas. He also informed me that they do beer tastings on some Saturdays in case I was interested, since I am always interested in free alcohol I thought that was fabulous too. So needless to say, I will definitely be returning to the Neshaminy Beverage, although I still think it should be renamed to Neshaminy Beer instead.

BYOB's are very common place in PA. but usually I know in advance. Once seated I asked to see their wine list and was quickly informed there was none. Oh my, it's Sunday and our server said there is a State Store two doors down, I reminded her that it was Sunday, she assured me they were open. What the hey, not believing her I decided to check it out and sure enough they were open and I bought my bottle of chilled wine. I came home and checked the PLCB's site and there are now 154 Sunday stores open in Pennsylvania from noon until 5:00pm! Yay, PA. is finally growing up! You still will not find wine, beer or spirits in a grocery store or market, the PLCB controls it all except for a few scattered here and there in the big cities. Am I happy and a lush? You betcha!

For one thing, you can find better champagnes and they carry Limoncello. With these shops being run by the PLCB, it still amazes me how the prices can differ from store to store for the same product!
