Each and every time I've left disappointed or annoyed by the attitude of the staff. The first visit the man who 'helped' me tried to upsell me for wedding bands. I kept saying I wanted simple to accent the engagement ring my husband purchased there. Thank goodness I was with a friend who finally said, loud & firm, "You are not listening! Simple! Simple!" It just seemed greedy. I bought the bands I wanted thanks only to the friend I had with me. Went to get my ring cleaned. I was only able to try on 3-5 rings that were only available in size 6 - it is really hard to judge if you like a ring when it only fits halfway on your pinky finger. We made an appointment at M. Pope & Co. Fine Jewelers and they had a wide variety of diamond rings. I probably tried on 20+ rings. If they didn't have the ring in my size, they were able to take a loose diamond from the back and place it on a "setter" which is basically an empty band they could place a diamond on. Michael and his team were extremely patient and kind. I especially appreciated Michael's extensive knowledge on the diamonds and what to look for in certain settings and materials in order to create the most stable ring. My fiance was able to design a ring easily and it was ready within a month. After the proposal, I needed to resize my ring slightly and they were able to do it in under 48 hours! The ring is so beautiful and even better than I could have ever imagined. We highly recommend M. Pope & Co. Fine Jewelers and will definitely be back to purchase our wedding bands!

Having done business with Cre8 on three occasions I can solidly recommend against using their…read moreservices or even walking in the door. This is a local business and although it's easy enough to use a remote or online vendor, I figured we'd keep our company's purchases close to home. Unfortunately, the business is run poorly and the output is marginal at best. When the owner is not in the shop the employees cannot answer questions about pricing or capabilities of the machines. Even with the owner in the shop the employees are ill informed. On the most recent visit someone told me that a device I brought in could not be etched right in front of the owner, who then said it could be done. I was told that my piece would be ready the next day but I never received a call or email, as promised. A email arrived late , the etching was weak and when I said I wasn't crazy about how it looked the owner said, "well I think it looks good." Our prior experience was with a much larger order and the quality was poor and the process was painful. Our business partner (a large bank) also commented to us how unprofessional the business was and recommended never using them again...even before viewing the work, which they (and we) considered sub-par. Lastly, I know two other people in our community that have had negative experiences with either work done by Cre8 or with some aspect of the people or process.

I brought in my antique engagement ring that was incorrectly resized by a previous jeweler…read moreresulting in an oval shank. I had concerns about the ring spinning despite resizing. Gary inspected the ring in great detail and made a recommendation to remove some of the shank and rebuild it, as well as to place tension springs to prevent spinning and slipping. He took his time to measure my finger for the optimal fit. I was told by another jeweler that all of my prongs needed replacement and I wanted a second opinion. Gary again took his time to inspect all the prongs and reassured me that they didn't need replacement. I was very glad for his honesty. The next business day, Gary fixed the ring in 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully. I was so nervous previously to entrust someone with my ring, but I felt at ease. Gary offered that I stay and watch the entire process. He told me to inspect my gemstone carefully after his job was complete as general good practice after having my jewelry worked on! I am so happy with the end result and strongly recommend this jeweler. The key factors that impressed me most were honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, patience, mastery of his craft, and sharing of knowledge/providing an understandable rationale for his decision-making.
