The first time was for a service and a rather urgent repair, this happened to be in the middle of the Christmas/New Years madness with public holidays all over the place. Speaking to them over the phone, they found a time to squeeze me in and, when the repairs ended up taking a bit longer than expected, they kept the shop open for me so I could pick it up after work and not have to wait until after the long weekend. Both times that my car has been in the shop they have called me during the day to keep me updated on everything that's going on. The second time my car needed a repair it was for a cracked exhaust and not only did they diagnose this while I was still there, but actually lifted the car up to show me exactly what had happened and how it would be fixed. I've never felt like I was being taken for a ride or left out of the loop and everyone I've spoken to here has been such a pleasure to deal with. Most definitely recommend it.

Searched Yelp for a good local service centre as I've recently moved. Found Ultra Tune had a good…read morereview so decided to book my car in. Received a rough quote on the phone that sounded high. I had a look online into what I should have been paying the amount Ultra Tune quoted was almost 100% above the price Ford were offering as a fixed price quote. I figured if they were as good as the review perhaps it would be worth it. So I went ahead, got a loan car which is where the 2 stars come from. A few hours after dropping in my car I got a call several extra things all costing over a hundred so now my service was getting quite unreasonable in price. Some of the items should have been covered by the extra warranty I had on my car, Ultra Tune supposedly made a call but the information they came back wasn't even close to my warranty. I told them not to do any of the extra work, got my car back, sent my car to Ford for the next service everything fixed as expected.

The staff here are the friendly and smiley type, and whoever is hiring here likes their blonde women. They (the men behind the service desk) professionally went through all of the specific requirements of the current procedure (service). This includes all the basics as well as an inside and outside clean, which all together totals at a bit over three hundred dollars ($340)..... and now we wait. The facilities themselves are nice, new, spacious and located on Port Road. The members lounge where we are currently waiting is a fairly modernised design with a spiral metallic staircase situated somewhat in the centre of the room, and directly amidst a secretarial area. There is also views of the mechanical car yard and the sales cars. For further customer convenience there is free coffee available, a plasma television and various tables and chairs. No free WI-FI though, FYI. That's kind of lame. Now fast forwarding to the final verdict, the service took about an hour and half, which I get told is pretty normal. The results of the service seem pretty peachy, and although it is probably pricer than your average small guy Joe, when it comes to garage and car sales, City Mazda provides a pleasant and professional sort of experience. However my partner thought that mechanic seemed suss, and my sister had raved about Don's, so we took it to Don's for a second opinion. I went there on my way to work at 8am and had a lovely guy take all the details of my car - looking in places I would never have thought to check on what would be needed. A few days later I got a call and my little Mitsi was booked in. The repairer kept me updated as to what needed to be done via message so as not to disturb me at work and let me know when the repairs were going to be delayed due to a lack of parts. He even checked my wheel alignment as he was concerned that may have been impacted. They were flexible about pick up times and we arranged for me to pick my car up after hours with them leaving my key in an inconspicuous place. Overall I was really happy with the work they did on my Mitsi and the customer service was out of this world.
