There are a few playgrounds, bathrooms, a covered shelter for picnics, a pretty gazebo, ball field, disc golf and walking trails. I like to come here in the morning when it's not too cold out to get an outside workout in when I want to switch things up, rather than going to the gym and walking on the treadmill. The walking trails at Creekside Park are fantastic; lots of greenery or autumn foliage depending on the season. There's great lighting and usually a number of maintenance men on the property during the morning hours, so I always feel safe walking here. It's also a great place for shooting photography or a photo shoot if you are planning on having pictures taken.

Driving through, you'll hit a series of speed bumps that definitely keep you moving slow, but honestly that's a good thing with all the kids and teams running around. We ended up trying this park out because we heard it was awesome for kids who love to climb. It's even fenced in and has some shaded areas, in addition to several picnic tables. You can easily see your kids play while you're having a rest and eating lunch. Nice, clean amenities such as a bathroom, shelter and a paved track to enjoy a leisurely walk or run. My biggest disappointment here is all the rules and signage in place that I feel takes away from kids being able to be kids, especially at a playground! The landscaping set up was a poor choice when it comes to the location and expectation for it to be kept in order. It's not set up with children in mind. Definitely can't play hide and seek behind the bushes or pick flowers for your mom or you'll get yelled at by the property and grounds staff. If your child is fascinated by nature I wouldn't recommend coming here. You'll get the side eye just for looking at the trees. You'll just have to see for yourself and it will make more sense. And not being able to bring your bikes or scooter or sidewalk chalk?? I've never seen these kinds of rules at a park. There is so much sidewalk and smooth paved areas, it would be perfect for all of those things!! But they seem to care more about looks than functionality and it being a safe space for kids to be free. Anyways like I said nice features but I don't think this place was designed from a child's perspective and them being able to have fun.

The park opened in early 2020 (I think), right around the time COVID hit. It is in full operation now. This park is very impressive. Below are a list of amenities that I am aware of. 1) Splash pad. One of the largest in the state. 2) Indoor basketball courts 3) Football field 4) Dog park (separate ones for small and large dogs) 5) Playground for kids 6) Amphitheater with a large well manicured lawn area 7) Walking trails They sank a lot of money into this and it shows. Some of the things were existing from the old high school but most are new. Now that we are coming out of this pandemic, outdoor concerts will be coming. For the splash pad, you do have to schedule a time slot to use it. You can call or signup for a slot on their website.

This well maintained facility with public restrooms, and a large covered pavillion also has RC tracks and an airstrip, a dirt course for bmx, and what appears to be a gravity race track. Hence the Hobby Park name. There is loads of parking on the property and access to all the tracks as well as a large open wooded area with trails. We come here to walk and enjoy the open space. Theres a group of RC airplabe folks that I've seen using the airstrip and only a few folks running model cars, otherwise the place is pretty empty. Not sure if the park hosts events but on all of my visits there has never been more than a handful of people. 4.5 Stars a really unique park that appears to be under utilized and definitely worth the time to visit 01168
