My wife and I arrived at this oasis and were in complete awe. We were celebrating our honeymoon and were looking for an escape, the finca was exactly that. We stayed in the Invisible Treehouse which was great, we loved the outdoor shower!! The Pavillon is visible from the kitchen, as a fyi. The daily morning yoga and meals were AMAZING, they left us energized for the day. We also did the Ayurvedic massage which felt good, one of the most relaxing massages I have had. It's not the traditional deep tissue massage, but it's super worth it. Muchas gracias to Sylvia, Luis, the cooking crew, and everyone else over at Finca Victoria for the amazing experience, we feel super fortunate to have been able to stay there. We cannot wait to be back. Gracias.

It's been over a year since I visited BUT must give them their well deserved shout out. When you stay at Finca IT IS AN EXPERIENCE. You are completely unplugged from society and are one with the universe, seriously. There are no TV's or radios b/c you are meant to enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms do not have AC but the breeze in the evening from being high up on the mountain helps cool the houses. The rooms also provide mosquito nets if you need to use them. My fiancé and I stayed in one of the Casa Nuria houses. The outdoor shower on the 2nd floor outside the bedroom is pure bliss. The breakfast was fresh, flavorful and very healthy. They had a refrigerator stocked with wine and snacks if you get late night cravings and it's based off an honor system since the kitchen & staff are off after a certain time. If you're into Yoga, they offer a complimentary class early in the morning before breakfast. The property is also dog friendly and you will find these furry little friends of the hotel roaming around. This property is secluded on a mountain but you're still within driving distance to many restaurants. We rented a car and there was plenty of space to park in the grass area of the property. The staff and owner are super friendly and really take your comfort to heart. I had an issue with my skin from the heat and one of the girls made me a lavender oil roller to soothe my skin. Looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I come here for our honeymoon. It was an INCREDIBLE place. From the wonderful accommodations to the healing yoga and the outstanding food. We can't wait to return to Finca Victoria again!

Finca Victoria is an incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and calm place to stay. There's free breakfast (vegan) and yoga available each morning for those who want it. There's also coffee and tea (1 herbal, 1 caffeinated) available at all hours. There's a mini food and drinks area with some snacks (mostly healthy- many involve quinoa) and beer and wine available for purchase that is also available at all hours. Our room was open, airy, and very well decorated. The aesthetic is similar to the Dreamcatcher. The bed was very comfortable and we definitely used the mosquito net each night as it was absolutely necessary. You'll see lots of lizards, geckos, and strange bugs outside (and sometimes inside!) of your room, which can be fun. Extremely important words of advice- you absolutely must book a vehicle of some sort at least a month ahead of time if you're planning on going during the busy seasons. We did not realize this and every scooter, golf cart, and car rental place was tapped out for the remainder of the month. There are a few taxi companies on the island, but not many. There were days where we spent hours trying to get a hold of a taxi to take us or pick us up from anywhere. We had to hitch a ride with another guest to make it to the ferry on time. Finca Victoria is in the middle of nowhere, which is part of its charm but makes getting anywhere a bit of a trip. It's 15-20 minutes to get anywhere. The road leading to it is one way and very dark and not safe for walking on at night time. Also, many of the businesses on the island have unusual hours, so make sure to check them out before heading anywhere or you might be in for a surprise. We would love to go back, but will make sure to get a car well ahead of time if we do.

Exceptional. Peaceful. The pictures don't do it justice. The vibe is ...you'll want to experience it. ¡Que Lindo!

Magnifique. Exceptional. The pictures don't do it justice. The vibe is relaxing. There's no stress here. It's clean. It's fresh. It's old but modern. This is a really cool place.

My absolute favorite stay while in Puerto Rico (yes, the whole damn island) there was not a more magical day then this trip, it was an experience to say the least, you're way out in the hills, the breakfast is fully vegan and the fruits are so fresh and grown in house! The coquis sound so close to you, there was no better way to spend my 28th birthday, the serenity you feel upon entering hits you like a 1000 volts of excitement, i am honored and humbled to have been able to stay here, we booked through Airbnb make sure you stay here! Their furry friends are amazing as well! Don't be shy say Hi! Enough talking, I'll let the pictures speak for itself

Vieques is a gorgeous island and deserves the best hospitality which Hix Island is not offering. You can drive by and check out the architecture, but I do not recommend spending your money here. For staying in Puerto Real, book at Finca Victoria. For a more lively experience, book at El Blok in Esperanza.

AVOID STAYING HERE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!…read more While I am aware of how hard the travel industry has been hit due to Covid it is saddening to see that customer service has been affected this greatly and my party and myself will not be returning to stay at Hix accommodations around the world. This is why... My party and I unfortunately had the worst experience when we stayed at Hix Island House in Vieques and strongly advise potential vacationers to book at other accommodations in Vieques (Such as El Blok). We felt that the listing on Expedia where we booked our stay through was very misleading since none of the amenities mentioned were actually available, such as the pool and yoga. The property felt like a ghost town with us only being able to communicate with the manager via phone as even reception hours were inaccurate. In addition, the only other guests staying at the time mentioned they received an email that the pool was broken and we were never communicated until we brought this up to management. To make matters worse, my friend had an injury happen at Hix Island House in the horse floor fence. While it had a sign to hold onto the rail, there was a pole sticking out of the wall that the rail was on which made my friend have to walk around the pole and have her fall through the fence. While we booked for 2 nights we only stayed one night after this ordeal and when we requested a full refund due to all the reasons above, the hotel through Expedia only approved a partial refund. Even after pleading our case to why a full refund should be given no acknowledgment/ at the bare minimum an apology was made by management of Hix Island House or Expedia.
