After a few good years with Progressive, i decided to give their renters insurance affiliate some…read morebusiness. I signed up for renters which is underwritten by Homesite. A day after signing up, I came across a slew of bad reviews in regard to Homesite. I won't get into details but it was scary enough that I cancelled my renters policy a week before it was scheduled to begin. I was extremely disappointed to find out that Progressive does business with such a shady organization (go online and read the reviews if you want some good horror stories) and was ready to jump ship to find another insurance agency that offers renters insurance that is equally as reputable as their auto insurance. I did an online quote and the rate I was given was much higher than my current rate through Progressive (which I expected). I shot a quick note to Doug Auzat and let them know what I was paying, my desire to switch over, and what rate I would need to consider a switch. A day later I was contacted by Darriane and her level of customer service was nothing short of astounding. It amazes me that this level of catering to the customer still exists in a society full of quick, fast, and cheap at the expense of customer service. We worked through all of my options for rate savings, bundling, and at the end of it all, we even got my girlfriend to cancel her premium with Geico and come onto my policy saving her and I a lot of money through State Farm's multi-policy discount programs. At the end of the day what sold me on the switch from Progressive to State Farm was the excellent customer service and treatment I received despite countless emails and inquiries I submitted asking for details, explanations of costs, etc. I need to know that I'm going to be treated with the same level of attentiveness when I file a claim as I was when I was a potential new customer and I have confidence that this will be the case (God forbid I need to actually use my insurance). This is how it should be. I understand that all insurance companies are in the business of making money (what business isn't?) but this is proof that you don't need to be a slime ball in order to run an insurance company. I highly recommend this agency and especially working with Darriane if you can!

Unfortunately, I can not in good conscience recommend this tax agent…read more I visited Laura Bushley tax office at the beginning of December 2022 and talked with her and her assistant about hiring her to work on my taxes and act as a tax consultant. She seemed nice, but during the first interaction something seemed a little off. Call it a bad vibe, or gut feeling, something just didn't seem right. The person with me felt the same kind of "vibe". I told Laura what I was looking for, asked her what kind of documents I needed to provide, and asked what kind of timeline I might be looking at. I knew I was going to need time to go through a lot of documents in advance, scan them and provide them to Laura for taxes and others. She told me she was looking forward to working with me and would get back to me before the end of 2022 to set up a meeting. In January 2023, I made a follow-up call and was told by one of her office assistants that she would call me back. I never heard back from anyone. At the beginning of February, I began to become concerned and called her twice and was told she or her assistant would call me back. Once again, no one called. The last week of February, I visited her office in person since I was in the building. I told the office assistant Laura Bushley had said she would return my call back in December, and I had contacted her office three or four times since. The assistant took a condescending tone and said, "She will call you back, when she's ready to call you back". No one at the Laura Bushley tax office ever followed up, called me back or directly offered an explanation. I ultimately had to rush last minute to find another tax consultant to work with. It's important to me, that whoever I work with not only know how to do math and fill out tax forms, but that they also are committed to and understand the importance of customer service etiquette. I understand that "Life happens", but any kind of follow-up from her office would have been appropriate. Ultimately, I am thankful it didn't work out.

I am surprised to see any negative reviews on this page…read more I was referred to Serge's office by my personal lines insurance agent, and I am very fortune to work with such amazing individuals in a world that's is so consumed by money they sometimes lose their human dignity, but not these two. I am a single mom that has to play the superhero and at the same time make sure that I stay on top of my small business provide for my child. I have 8 employees and with all the deliveries and orders that we get life gets pretty hectic and I overlooked all the city and state regulations that I had to follow, with having the right insurance and showing proof to my lender, all the additional insurers and of course the workers compensation insurance and a bunch of other insurances and filings that still do not make sense to me. I called Serge's office lost and not knowing what I needed to have and was able to speak with him the same minute. I expected this process to be very long and tedious, however i was on the phone with Serge for only 15-20 min and he called me back the next day with a complete package and at a price that was too good to be true. I signed up right away and he took care of all the filings and send in all the necessary documents to the institutions to make sure that I was able to operate my business without any interruptions. I was lost and needed help and was prepared to pay in gold only to be able to operate my business, at a time when other insurance agents would have used the opportunity to cheat me, he explained everything and took care of all the headaches without outrageous charges. I have already renewed my policy with him numerous times and always have received excellent customer service from him, with all the requests done the same day if not within 10 minutes. I have recommended two of my friends who have small stores to him and have heard nothing but positive feedback about Serge's office. Thanks Serge again for the excellent service you provide to your clients continuously.
