I emailed from their website. After 2 days of no response I called. When I advised the girl who…read moreanswered about my online inquiry , she was adamant they always respond and even asked if emailed the right email address (I have no clue how I couldn't from their website). She didn't want to help me over the phone, and that was fine because her attitude was so crap, I didnt even wanna go there. I told her I had the confirmation email even from THEIR site. So instead of providing me customer service she told me forward that to them and they'll respond. First off, I'm not in lighting. So as a person who was in need of renting lights for a teenagers birthday party, to get an email talking about 2500 deposit or 10000 in insurance policy, etc. for a light kit I found at several other places for $80 a day and not all this drama and tension. Glad she turned me off with her rude ass. Now.. the way life works.. I do work in the entertainment business for one of the largest networks. I will be sure to pass word to never mention this place around our offices for any productions or side projects.

I've rented from them on numerous occasions, from cameras, to lenses, to tripods, to sliders, to batteries. In every case, they've delivered what I asked for, at a great price. On one occasion, I rented at 5DII for a fashion shoot, and upon arriving at the shoot, the hot shoe on the camera stopped working, and wouldn't fire my remote strobes. Without the camera, I would have been in bad shape. I called Billy at Stray Angel, and when we couldn't troubleshoot the problem, he couriered another camera body to me asap. The shoot went off without a hitch, the client went home happy. Stray Angel Rocks!

Absolute bandits. Do not send these people money. They have no access to anything in Hollywood. If…read moreyou send in your manuscript, they will pretend to pitch it to a producer who will give you a glowing review and suggest you hire a screenwriter. THEIR screenwriter, for which you would have to pay around $20,000. I KNOW several screenwriters. All of them warned me not to chance it with these clowns. Nat Mundel is a smooth talker, but when you drill down, you find out that they have NEVER actually completed a film from a book - they are ALLEGEDLY in the process of doing so. Their affiliations are sketchy and their business model appears to be: "Send us money and we'll make your novel into a film." Only your $700 (roughly) will be gone and they'll let you know that a particular producer thinks your story is GREAT and could even win an Oscar. To do so, just send another $20K to have a screen writer turn it into a script. Only IF you tell them you have your own screen writers, they instantly lose interest and good luck talking to that producer who was "SO EXCITED" to have read your story. "They are very busy people and cannot spend ten minutes on the phone with you again." Maybe they WANT to be an incubator, but that isn't how Hollywood works. If someone likes your book, they pay you for it, not the other way around. Stay away.
