She didn't want to help me over the phone, and that was fine because her attitude was so crap, I didnt even wanna go there. I told her I had the confirmation email even from THEIR site. So instead of providing me customer service she told me forward that to them and they'll respond. First off, I'm not in lighting. So as a person who was in need of renting lights for a teenagers birthday party, to get an email talking about 2500 deposit or 10000 in insurance policy, etc. for a light kit I found at several other places for $80 a day and not all this drama and tension. Glad she turned me off with her rude ass. Now.. the way life works.. I do work in the entertainment business for one of the largest networks. I will be sure to pass word to never mention this place around our offices for any productions or side projects.

I've rented from them on numerous occasions, from cameras, to lenses, to tripods, to sliders, to batteries. In every case, they've delivered what I asked for, at a great price. On one occasion, I rented at 5DII for a fashion shoot, and upon arriving at the shoot, the hot shoe on the camera stopped working, and wouldn't fire my remote strobes. Without the camera, I would have been in bad shape. I called Billy at Stray Angel, and when we couldn't troubleshoot the problem, he couriered another camera body to me asap. The shoot went off without a hitch, the client went home happy. Stray Angel Rocks!

Despite my best efforts to appear awkward and unphotogenic, Barrett worked his magic and made the whole process seem effortless. The warmth, kindness, and patience was what I remembered, just in a newer and larger studio - WOW OH WOW!! The new location is convenient, spacious, and easy to find. I was able to park and walk to the front door, in the rain, with no issue. My prior comments stand - Claudia is an amazing partner and she works to help you bring forth your best in photos (and in spirit while taking them!), and now she has a space where she can shine even brighter! ***** As a shy person, I've never been comfortable being the center of attention. I was looking for a photographer because, for the first time ever, I needed a headshot for work. Claudia was one of many photographers recommended, but man did I luck up by choosing her! She was the first, and only photographer I contacted. The photos on her site had the aesthetic for which I was looking, and the fact that she is a female business owner sealed the deal! I took my mom and Chief of Staff to my session, because I'm generally nervous and hate taking pictures, so I knew they would help me to relax. Had I known how amazing Claudia was, I wouldn't have bothered my mom or CoS AT ALL, though I'm glad we were all present because we had an amazing time!! Claudia prepped me for the shoot by suggesting what would look best (and being honest and open about what wouldn't), so I was mostly ready when we arrived. Her studio is cute and fit us all - she played music to help me relax too, and allowed my family/framily to speak with me and her during the shoot. She was SO patient with me (I was MARBLE stiff!!) and really helped me to actually smile!! I can't believe it's really me in the proofs!!! If you're looking for a photographer with a great eye for what will look amazing, and will make THE MOST nervous person comfortable, look no further!! Claudia Hoag is your lady!!!

I've been in and around the entertainment industry for just over ten years, mostly as an actor and…read moremore recently as a writer. During the course of trying to bring my most recent project to market, I've attended seminars, paid to pitch producers, and have done loads of research on how to get my material into the right hands. While most of the services I've paid for sounded great on the surface, they failed to deliver any meaningful results that helped move my project forward. After learning about Voyage Media, researching the company and their business model, and listening to a presentation from founder Nat Mundell, I was convinced that I had found a home for my story and a group of people that could help me realize my dream. For a price less than what I've paid others, Voyage has so far delivered incredible value. The producer I pitched give me clear and actionable notes on story, character, and what executives producers look for when considering attaching themselves to a project and what adjustments I needed to make in that regard. He pointed out a few blind spots that had perhaps previously kept my project from moving forward. I've never received that from any of the other producers I paid to pitch! Nat phoned me the next week and followed up with a plan of action and a set of steps that made clear the process of getting my project ready to sell and how that would be done. Furthermore, as someone who has built and operated several companies, I have a unique perspective when it comes to identifying well-built organizations. Voyage Media is no exception. Nat and his team have done an excellent job in curating industry professionals and producers from across all disciplines. The resources and information they provide are insightful and extremely valuable. Not only that, but I have yet to find another organization in the entertainment industry that offers a turn-key approach to bring your story idea to market in such an integrated and streamlined way. So, if you are new to the entertainment industry, or even if have been around for a while like me, I highly recommend working with Voyage Media. It's the best investment you'll ever make!
