The sphere was so cozy and comfortable, and the engineering and design behind the sphere is just incredibly intelligent and such a marvel. The owners/hosts also do such a great job of making your stay 100% comfortable. They prepared a big snack basket for us inside our sphere filled with baked goods, granola bars, and fruit, and another small plate of fruit and cheesecake and a small bottle of champagne. They also prepared the most delicious yogurt parfait for us to eat for breakfast the next morning. Lying in the sphere in the forest is just the most amazing and tranquil experience. Our sphere had a wireless bluetooth speaker which we used to play relaxing music in the evening and in the morning. The acoustics in the sphere are fantastic. I loved waking up in the sphere and just staring outside the window in the morning, looking at the tree branches surrounding us with some soft jazz music playing in the background. For anyone who is worried, the bathroom facilities are also super clean and modern and comfortable. They are just a short walk away and there are headlamps provided in case you need to walk there at night. I honestly can't recommend this experience enough! It was definitely pricey ($330 for one night, and our sphere was the cheapest available), but I am really glad we did it and am looking forward to returning again in the future!

We stayed here back in mid October for a last minute weekend trip. Can't believe no one booked this…read morespace up and it was available! I could tell the owner of the home actually cared about it and her neighbours because she asked questions about the guests that would be staying to make sure we weren't a bunch of teenagers looking to throw a rager. She also asked questions about our dogs and we were so lucky she agreed to let them stay for a small extra cleaning fee which is 100% reasonable and understandable. Upon arriving, the garage was upstairs and Kristine was super welcoming and warm when she greeted us and showed us around. She also went above and beyond by having a few treats waiting for us and staying for an extra bit of time to answer so many of our questions as we'd never been to the island before. Super helpful and even if she was in a rush to get to her family for Thanksgiving, she didn't rush us or make it seem like she was eager to get away. We couldn't believe the view when we got to the main floor. Seriously, it was beautiful even with the rainy weather we got. The kitchen also had enough in it to make it functional - pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, salt, pepper, etc. Very thoughtful for guests so you don't have to buy cheap, crappy sets for one time use. Over all, it was an amazing stay. We got to meet Karin on our way out and she was just as pleasant as Kristine. Such a nice, friendly crew for a beautiful home. There wasn't a thing we could ask for improvements on during our stay. Thank you Karin and Kristine!

An instant favourite was the scallops which was rich and creamy without being overly heavy. The atmosphere is casual but classy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the flavors are expertly balanced.

This time we reserved a water side tent. We could not have been happier. This thing is an actual tent with a metal frame. It's one main space with a small bump out for the water closet. There's a shower/sink area with a jetted soaking tub on the other side. Don't get any illusions about sound insulation or sound privacy. These things are lightly constructed and move in the wind which was very cool because a wind storm rolled in. The sea was rolling and all we could here was wind and breakers hitting the rocks below us. There's a gas fireplace inside and the double doors lead out onto the deck for the unobstructed view. We had no problems with the front desk or housekeeping. Just know the way you get to the tents is on a long raised boardwalk along the cliff side. If you get a tent with a high number it's a pretty good hump. There are also copious amounts of stairways leading to the tents from the walkway. They have some luggage carts to use and they pick them up after you drag your stuff to your tent. We enjoyed every minute and barely left our tent. It was pretty quiet and restful. The restaurant/bar is in the main building and is considered high end. The prices certainly are but I did not see that in the food per se. I had seafood linguine. It had scallops (scallop bits actually) shrimp, Krab, and a hint of salmon. First off when you put shrimp in a creamy pasta dish the tails need to be removed. The shrimp in my dish had tails. I took time to remove them which I shouldn't have had to do. The salmon was a few flaky chunks about the size of my thumbnail. The flavor was okay but I found the sauce a bit runny and the linguine was not cooked long enough for me. I did not complain though. My Bride had a lamb dish with vegetables and whipped potatoes. We are coming back to stay here but will most likely not patronize the restaurant. I thought it was overpriced even at the US to Canada exchange rate. This takes nothing away from the resort. It's amazing here and we shall return.
