Wonderful store with superb mens wear. I bought a Mirror top for men and am afraid to wear it. It's so nice

Cute, clever, artistic and humorous designs, a touch of Portuguese without feeling touristy. Best of all they use quality material, so the t-shirts feel soft and will not shrink or go out of shape after a few washes. The left side of the store is their new designs, and on the right are older designs with incomplete sizes that are discounted. Happy shopping!

They also have a website with a few other designs that aren't in their store. They are always updating/changing designs to keep it fresh. The girls who work in the shop are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. This is not a cheap souvenir t-shirt shop.. It's way better..more like a boutique t-shirt shop for discriminating people who want to stand out in a crowd. You won't be disappointed! Just discovered their shop in Lisbon with many of the same shirts as well as original ones with Barcelona on them - these t-shirts are definitely unique to this city and make a memorable gift for that special someone back home or just for yourself. They also have a store in Madrid.

Wow. Amongst the things I didn't even know that I was pining away for, add an 8-story+ department store that is everything to everyone. We entered in a very high-end part of the store featuring all the luxury brands one knows then descended to a food court and movie theaters. From there, I moved on to explore the amazing lower-level supermarket before leaving there and strolling into the beauty/pharmacy department filled with products that both are and aren't available in the US. I took the escalator up, eyeballing what each floor held before disembarking at a floor featuring home furnishings, electronics, housewares, and Christmas decor then got together with my friends for a drink at a wine bar on the top floor. Someone else could write a book on all I likely missed here but what I saw guaranteed that from here on I'll be searching for El Corte Inglése in every place I travel. If you think it's odd to have a department store on your must-see list in Lisbon it's clear that you've not yet been to El Corte Inglés.

I realize that every city has its own thrift/vintage culture and it's hard to find a market where you find that perfect combination of affordable + chic + a bargain. The difference between affordable and a bargain meaning that you're selling clothes at an affordable price (let's say a woman's sweater for 10 euros) and also at a comparative bargain considering the original value (so, not an H&M sweater for 10 euros). The selection here was more "vintage" (old) than thrift (inexpensive), and generally overpriced by my standards. The jewelry was housed across the street, and that selection was small. Encountered a much better vintage option further north in the city.
