In the course of Enterprise getting us a new car, we left some belongings in the towed vehicle. Once we contacted lost and found, things were great. Cynthia at lost and found got right on it. It was complicated because the car was towed without keys. She went the extra mile to recover our items and promptly fedexed them to us. Cynthia E. At Fort Myers Southwest Florida did a great job.

I reserved and paid for a full size vehicle under my corporate contract. When I arrived, the employee on duty showed me the only "full size" car available. A Nissan Versa. I asked if the Nissan Versa was considered a full size. He said yes. I asked again, are you sure? He repeated yes. I knew a Nissan Versa was not a full size car, as it felt extremely small. I once again stepped out of the vehicle and directly asked if a Nissan Versa is considered full size. He insisted it was. Before leaving with the vehicle, I checked Google, specifically to the rental class with Enterprise. As expected, the Nissan Versa is classified as a subcompact. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. This was not confusion. This was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle class. I asked to speak with a manager. That did not happen but then he asked me what kind of car I wanted. I made it clear I wanted exactly what I paid for. No upgrade. No downgrade. No excuses. Getting what you pay for should be the minimum standard. Eventually, a female employee approached me. I explained the situation. She apologized and handled the interaction professionally. I appreciate her effort, but the damage was already done. I understand how rental locations operate. I understand quotas, ratings, and long term rentals with 30 day review cycles. None of that excuses misleading a customer. This experience crossed a line. I will not return to this location. As a consumer, verify what you are given. Do not accept false answers. Make sure you receive the vehicle class you paid for.

Because my car died and I couldn't afford to get it fixed, nor have a monthly car payment, I…read morecompared the cost of owning a car (including auto insurance, AAA, repairs & upkeep) with how much it would cost to rent a car/year. It turned out that the cost would be SIGNIFICANTLY less than owning a car! When I scheduled the 1st rental, I explained that I no longer have a car and asked if they could pick me up at home to take me to their business & return me back home when I returned the car. They said they could do that. The staff at the Lehigh Acres Enterprise has been extremely courteous & helpful. The 1st time I rented a car, they were so busy that they couldn't get a driver to my home to take me to their business that I arrived there right after the time they closed. They waited for me to complete the transaction for the rental. I checked Uber to see how much it would cost to get me to Enterprise & it was only $10 - $12 one way. Therefore, I began hiring Uber to get me to Enterprise; however, I told the staff I couldn't afford to pay Uber for both ways. They appreciated that I tried to help them and made a point of finding one of their staff to take me home. Once I had to wait for a while; however, the other 3 times, they were able to free up one of their staff shortly after I returned the car. I've rented lots of cars before and have never been treated as nicely as the staff at the Lehigh Acres Enterprise, despite the imposition for them to get me home. Not only that but everyone was extremely friendly & courteous. Thanks for such great Customer Service!

Firstly, despite reserving a specific size vehicle for specific needs, I was informed upon arrival…read morethat no such vehicle was available. When I inquired why I was able to complete the reservation online, I was told, "it's the way our system works. I have had a bunch of pickup truck rentals come through lately and we never have those." This reads a lot like a SCAM to me. Lie to get you in the door, then you are inconvenienced to the point that you have to settle for what they offer, The counter personnel were rude and unprofessional. The first employee assisting me shrugged off my concerns and eventually stopped attending to me when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The second employee, while checking out the vehicle with me, rudely shouted over my shoulder at another customer, which is highly unprofessional in any situation - in this one the other customer was a elderly gentleman who just needed a little more help, instead the employee shouting at him said "There are 5 people in front of you, you will just have to wait! I only have 2 people, what do you want from me?" Then proceeded to complain to me about the other customer. After a few days with the vehicle, I received a "key battery low" message. When I returned to the Lehigh Acres location to have this fixed, the manager could not find a replacement key and suggested I purchase one myself, offering a mere $10 discount on my rental. When I declined and requested a vehicle closer to what I had originally reserved, I was finally provided with an SUV. However, when processing the paperwork for the swap, I let the manager know the car I was swapping only had a 1/2 tank of gas and asked that I not be charged for the refuel, since the swap was out of my control and by no means my fault. She let me know I would be charged the inflated fuel rate unless I left to go refuel the car - yet another inconvenience to me. This was particularly frustrating as the swap was out of my control. As someone who manages branches for a rental company, I understand the importance of customer service and would have at least offered to bill the fuel at market price for the inconvenience. To add to my frustration, the SUV I was given had an almost empty gas tank. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. If you have to, best of luck and hope you are not looking for a easy or efficient solution to your problems.

Instead of being located at the airport rental car center, this company is off-site, which meant taking an additional shuttle while all the major rental companies were conveniently located at the airport. After a long day of travel, that was an unnecessary inconvenience. When we arrived, the office was essentially a trailer, and the vehicles were noticeably lower quality than what you'd expect from the major rental agencies. Our car had dirty floor mats and existing damage that had to be documented before we could leave. The biggest issue was the payment process. I had originally reserved the vehicle through a third-party site, but because my original credit card had been stolen and replaced, they would not work with me to resolve the issue easily. I was forced to use a different credit card, which was particularly frustrating because I specifically use my American Express for the rental car insurance coverage. I ended up having to go back inside the office four separate times before everything was finally sorted out. The check engine light came on 5 minutes after we left. Overall, the combination of the off-site location, poor-quality vehicle, dirty interior, existing damage, and cumbersome check-in process made this one of the worst rental car experiences I've had. I would recommend paying a little more to rent from one of the major companies located directly at the airport. Note: the shuttle driver man was great though. Very nice.
