I've had three in person visits to this Chase location first was not good but the other two were good 1. (Negative) Put a hold on a 1k check I tried to cash then deposit b/c I was a new customer. Wouldn't normally be an issue to wait a few days to access the funds but the county was just put under a stay at home order and I still hadn't received my debit card after two weeks of waiting so I had to take it to another bank that didn't want to cash b/c Chase had stamped it. I eventually got it squared away but it was way harder than it should and the young man wasn't friendly at all. 2. (Positive) Went back a day later to deposit the money from above and the drive-thru teller was friendly and fast. Still hadn't received my debit card 3. (Positive) Week 3 or 4 and still no debit card so I returned to the branch. The woman that helped me was very nice. She determined my account had the correct address but my card was sent to St Petersburg and not St Pete Beach. She rush a new one, waived the express fee and I had it in 2 days. The jury is still out but certainly 1000% better than Bank of America up the street

They have implemented Regions' new customer friendly approach, with "assistants" seated behind cubicles who deal with you one on one, no matter what your problem. I was able to replace a lost debit card and reset a pin number on another card right on site in a matter of minutes. The room is spacious, they have an actual greeter to direct you to the next available customer service individual, the customer service people are kind, warm, friendly and very, very helpful. Thank goodness for this branch; otherwise, I'd be tempted to close out my Regions account. A special thank you to Nicole Johnston, with whom I dealt, and who helped me with several other issues as well. A very charming employee who presented the best possible face of the "new" Regions! Kind of a dated Bank of America, with typical poor Bank of America hours (9-4, Friday 9-6, closed…read moreweekends). It has a drive through but I've found it's typically quicker to go inside, if you can find a parking spot, since there are only four reserved for bank customers and it's a decent sized building. Inside there's typically a person walking around to hassle you about opening other types of accounts while you wait in line, but the tellers are pleasant. I moved my banking to Chase down the street at the Publix shopping plaza. They're open three more hours per weekday, as well as Saturday, new building, faster, friendlier, don't bother you about up-selling other services constantly. If you do need to find a Bank of America on a Saturday, the closest one to this location that is open Saturday is at 1300 66th St N, St Pete, and they're open 9-1.

Until, you realize you have no need to take out $50, let alone figure out how to break that into smaller bills later. So here's the good.. ATM works. Yep. Even told me my balance. Another cool feature: if you forget your ATM card, the app will generate a code and you can use the ATM without your card. Cool!! The bad: location. The ATM sits on the street so your back is to the street and not really protected when you use it. The parking lot is on the other side of the lot, so if you need help.. (well, let's face it.. no one was in the car, so if I needed help, it better be Kit from Knight Rider because no one was coming).

Tellers and administrators who spend a great deal of time conversing and joking with each other while a line of customers wait - this has happened on so many occasions, which is not only sad but unacceptable since this branch has many elderly customers. This entire branch needs a huge overhaul in terms of personnel and appearance. I would highly recommend driving an extra 8 - 10 minutes away to the new Regions branch in South Pasadena, which is a far superior branch in every way. The Gulfport Regions branch appears to have given up all hope for improvement...perhaps they are closing?

I bank at my local Regions branch at Isla Del Sol, 5901 Sun Blvd, St Petersburg, FL. 33715. Due to the coronavirus, appointments have to be made to conduct business. I called and set the appointment for 11:15 3/20/2020. I needed to have a wire transfer to close on a property I am purchasing. Upon arrival, another customer arrived approx 15 seconds prior to me, they let him in, then told me I would have to wait. This customer did not have an appointment. After 20 minutes, of waiting in my hot car in the parking lot, I called another branch, made a new appointment, drove there and did the wire transfer. When the Isla branch called me to tell me they were ready, I was already at the other office. When I confronted the employees about allowing someone to walk in without an appointment they lied, and said he had an appointment. I asked, "so you made two appointments at 11:15, the female employee would not answer me, I said lets be crystal clear, and she would not answer me. Kenny the acting manager said the customer was already there when he left. Total fabrication and out right lie, we arrived together, and Larry never left the office for 20 minutes that I sat outside. This may seem like a trivial thing, but this is business as usual for this branch. The staff has always been transient, no manager ever stays long, and the employees have poor attitudes. I know absolutely nothing will be done, but I will post this letter on Nextdoor, and Yelp, FB, Twitter, Instagram and other social media. I may even decide to move my 4 accounts to BBT. I have gotten loans from BBT and they want my business. Ill be building a home on the land I purchased. I wont be asking for a mortgage or doing other business with Regions, as I will not reward poor service, and employees who lie to my face. This could all be cleared up very easily, just admit what happened and life will go on, but Nope, Kenny is a proven liar. The female who made the appointment lied as well, and said "that's just the way it is". How about just telling the customer who came without the appointment to make an appointment? instead of bumping someone who does?
