I went into this branch, reluctantly today to have a document notarized. I say reluctantly because…read moretheir service has been abysmal in the past, and it hasn't changed. As a customer, the document to be notarized was to witness my signature only. After sitting and waiting for the notary, I was approached by someone who didn't introduce themselves, but felt it necessary to know what type of document I was having notarized. As a former notary in 2 different jurisdictions, it's only necessary for the notary to know this information. As I took a deep breath and tried to cooperate, it was becoming clear they didn't want to provide this simple service to a customer, and didn't!Trust me, we have one remaining account at WF and it will be closed shortly!

I had to reach out when I saw notices from the medical supply company that her draft didn't go through. We called the online service to find that there was a fraud alert. We went through every charge on her account no issue. I explained to the customer agent that if I didn't check on her medical drafts, I would have never known. Once again this has happened. No communication from Wells Fargo. If I wasn't there, it could have been disastrous. Please, consider someone's age, when following this process in the future. I did meet with a banker to set-up a joint account meeting with my mom. Hopefully, this will help. I personally bank at First Citizen, I always get a call and an alert to call them if theirs is possible fraud. They do not close my account down without my permission. Plus, all monthly reoccurring drafts continue as usual. Perhaps that's why I've been with them for over 35 years.

I usually don't post bad reviews but I feel like this one was needed. On Monday, April 19,2021 my…read moremother decided to go pay her loan bill at this CPM because it's up the street from our home. I was on the phone with her while this happened. Anyways, she went through the drive thru to pay her bill and after the gentlemen took the money through the window her informed her that they no longer took payments through the window effective that day. She didn't understand because he took the money and then wanted to inform her of policy change. She was annoyed because he told her after the fact. She went in branch told the lady aft the counter what she came in for and gave her the information she usually give them. The lady ask her more questions and she told her that she usually doesn't get asked that many questions. The lady tells her it policy. My mom was very respectful to the woman, not once did she call her out her name or raise her voice. The lady proceeds to argue with my mom, my mom ask to speak to the branch manager her exact words were "you can talk to me." I've worked in customer service myself and they've always told me if a customer ask to speak to a manger let them. Another lady chimes in telling her she was going to inform corporate, I guess threatening to ban her. No one would give her the corporate number so she called the main Greenville branch. Explained what happened to another gentlemen. She received a call from the branch manager in Simpsonville telling her that she came in with an attitude and basically she wasn't allowed to come back to the branch. My only question for the branch manager is how can you tell someone has an attitude under a mask? And, what was your purpose of calling my mother to basically not apologize for YOUR employees actions? I will be closing my account with this bank. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. and yes she is a black women.
