I love this book store with all my heart, another American Dream story where two hardworking and…read morededicated people started their own business and get to live out their passion. The owners are always in and working (along with an employee or two) ready and eager to answer any questions and help you find what you're looking for. Normally when I walk in it goes something like this: "so I have been thinking about Alaska a lot.. Do you have books about what it's like to live there?" // "I'd like to learn more about the culture of Germany..." // "what kind of book would feed my need for realistic fantasy?" And so on... Only to be followed up with a spark in their eye and an enthusiastic treasure hunt through the archives and a pile of choices before me. If I ever want to discuss a book they are great for that too! (And not to be over looked they always carry locally written books and historic books about the general twin tier area- and sweet souvenirs!) Great community oriented place and people there! I find the prices are very reasonable. The best part is if they don't have a specific book I'm looking for they will go and order it for me (delivered to their shop no charge to me- and it's usually always cheaper than average!) What you see is a small book store, but what I see is endless possibilities and hidden opportunities. Support small towns and the American Dream, check out this store before you just buy one online :) it's well worth it!

I was looking to buy a mattress. I called ahead to make sure they were available. I was told that…read morethey were ready to sell me one. I drove 40 minuets and was told the person I needed was on a delivery. I looked at every thing in the store, probably spend 30-40 minuets. I was asked if I found what I wanted, I replied that I had, and was then told " I will get someone to help you". I waited some more. A different couple then walked into the store, it had been empty except for my wife and I.. A woman entered the room, went straight to the couple that just walked in and spend 10-15 minuets talking about an item that would take 3 weeks to get. I had cash in hand, a truck to move it and wanted to go to Native Bagel for lunch. When I decided that I had wasted all of the time that I could afford, I left, and missed the restaurant by 7 minuets. I got the impression that I was not worthy, maybe people need to dress up before going to this shop. I e-mailed them in an attempt to give them a chance to respond, I was ignored. I wanted to support a local business, I guess I will shop on-line.
