A stone's throw from Les Halles, this bustling bistro offers up a variety of West African staples: from the Cameroonian ndole (a saute of meat, greens, and veggies) to Senegalese yassa (meat braised in onion and lemon) to Malian mafe (meat and veggies in a peanut street), you won't go wrong.
I stepped in during their happy hour and nabbed a half-priced tapa (aloko d'Ivoirienne: pieces of fried and caramelized banana...tasting like a sweeter version of maduros), a discounted local Gallian lager, and a plate of thieboudienne (a Senegalese dish of fish, tomato, cabbage, and other veggies over rice). The food was fantastic, though service was a bit on the slow side.
Definitely recommended if you're in the area
