I've stayed at this resort two times, both in the Casita cabin and most recently in September 2025. The hosts are delightful, respecting a guest's privacy while also being genuinely warm/welcoming/helpful and informative. These traditional "up north" cabins are clean, cozy and organized to cover all basic needs: pillows/ blankets/linens, towels, wood and a fire pit, a charcoal grill, (my cabin had ) a wonderful screen porch, shower, basic cooking/baking, cleaning and first aid supplies and a binder containing information about the resort and local area. The neighboring Wisconsin State hiking and biking trails, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, swing set, fish cleaning station, free internet, wildlife and incredible views provide the backdrop for a fun, relaxing Vacation. Stayed here for fishing opener. (Previously stayed for late season fishing) As mentioned, everything very clean. Everything provided sans personal items. Grill and grilling tools, lawn chairs, all kitchen items, even firewood, all there. VERY nice hosts. Thank you. Never stayed during peak season but, looks like they have a ton of stuff to do for kids and adults. read more

Location is nice with beautiful views, but owners are onsite and micromanage your stay. On our second day, they randomly left a vacuum on our front porch in front of the door - no note or explanation. We did not request a vacuum - guessing this was a hint for us to vacuum?? We had 3 dogs with us, but this was disclosed up front and Fiesta on the Lake promotes themselves as pet friendly. They have very specific/over the top cleaning rules (I paid nearly $700 for 3 nights here), and didn't have coverings or curtains on 2 major windows - we had to cover them at night with our own blankets. Owner approached us one morning and said "bring your dogs out - they can run free since other dogs aren't out". We said no, we always keep them on leashes and don't bring them all out together, and she said "well you've been inside all day". Like they were watching us. Good place to stay if you want the owner in your business your whole vacation! read more

Stayed here 6/6/15-6/10/15. Was ok. Cabins are rustic but clean. Bad thing was morning we left got up at 5 am & they turned off the water & electricity. No coffee no shower. No brushing teeth No coming Back. read more

My family recently spent a weekend here and had a very enjoyable experience. With 12 adults and 9 children, we needed all three cabins plus the lodge, but there was still room to spare. The cabins and lodge are clean and comfortable with a rustic feel, and the location of the property was incredible. You definitely get the feel of an old summer camp while you're there! The beach, with the toys, kayaks, paddleboat, canoes, and crystal clear water, was a favorite spot for all of us. There's a hiking trail leading off from the property with beautiful views of the lake, forest and bogs. We all had a great time here and will recommend this place in the future!!! :-) read more

We just spent a week in the Lodge at Fiesta on the Lake and loved it! It's an older rustic large cabin, but with modern updated bathroom and kitchen. Very clean and nicely decorated. Huge room upstairs with windows all around, including picture window looking out on the lake, literally feet from the water. Comfy sofa, four easy chairs, gas fireplace, and large table that would likely seat 10-12 people upstairs. Downstairs is a new comfy queen-size bed, another new sofa, easy chair, and a twin bed. Again, large windows looking out on the lake. Very large bathroom, nice closet space. Onsight manager from the family of the long-time owners was very kind and helpful. Great patio area on the water with chaise lounges, table and chairs for picnic lunch or evening visiting. Also canoes, paddle boat, kayaks, and option to rent fishing boat or pontoon. One of our favorite things was the direct link from the property to the hiking trails of the adjacent state forest. It's a large lake, but very quiet - except for the loons! Water is clear and there's a sandy beach. Good restaurants, grocery store, shops within 3 miles. We'll be back next year for sure! read more

Our family has stayed a number of times at Fiesta On the Lake. We have enjoyed our vacations and always look forward to returning. Fiesta has a great location with easy access to bike and hiking trails and the town of Boulder Junction. Fiesta has a beautiful location on a wonderful lake with a great beach area featuring an abundance of lakeside amenities. The cabins are rustic, clean and functional. We have found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and always concerned with the quality of your stay in their cabins. We look forward to seeing them each summer. We will return again this summer, and we hope for many years to come. read more
