Fiesta is a good laundry mat .. clean, friendly staff, good value and I love the free coffee. Only complaint is the doors locking early, makes for a huge hassle getting to the car, etc. read more

But I remember kicking back in the rocking chairs out on the back porch-like area and soaking up some Asheville sunshine while my clothes were washing. I have not had a bad experience with this laundry mat in the past, but today I get here and 10 of the dryers are out of service. Then because of the crazy parking lot set up, someone his the bumper of my truck trying to pull out. Of course they just drive off! Hopefully, they will get their equipment serviced soon. read more

Friendly staff. Huge facility so there's rarely, if ever, a wait for a machine. Very clean and accommodating while you wait for your clothes to wash/dry. Televisions, coffee, magazines all provided at no cost. I don't have cable so I do my laundry on Saturdays typically to watch college football. Perfect setup. read more

This place is squeaky clean and the equipment is in excellent condition. But it closes at 10pm. What kind of laundromat across from a college closes at 10pm?! I am a 40-something professional who vowed never to drop another quarter into a washer ... until I moved here and rented a temporary place without a W/D. So there I was, at 8pm, dropping quarters into the machine. I was initially very psyched about the place. But I ran home (1.5 miles away) to get hangers I'd forgotten and when I got back, I was locked out. Apparently they lock the doors at 9pm (I'm pretty sure it wasn't even quite 9). After about 10 minutes, someone noticed me knocking (it's loud in there, I guess) and told the minder who let me back in and informed me they closed at 10pm. Whoops, OK then. I then proceeded to dry my clothes. Unfortunately the one dryer that didn't dry well (it happens) contained my towels. I wasn't about to leave with damp towels so I kept putting quarters in and eventually switched to another dryer. The woman who was working and a guy who was the owner or manager practically stared me down until I finally did take my still-damp towels out and pack up. I had to take 5 loads out to my car at once because I couldn't take them out while the towels were drying due to the ridiculous door locking thing. So I used a cart to get my laundry out to my car - they stood by the door the whole time. Time when I got in my car? 10:10. I apologized for keeping them and they pretty much grunted. Whatever. Try waiting tables (or working at the grocery store or the bank or pretty much anywhere that treats their last customer as friendly as their first, even when they do keep you there a tiny bit late). Bottom line - the place is fine but I won't be going back now that the coffee shop/book store/bar/laundromat is open ... until midnight. read more

We were in Asheville for two weeks working/vacay while our son was in camp. This place is perfect to get your laundry done quickly in a nice, large, very squeaky clean setting. All of the equipment is new and efficient with many choice for cycles in washing and drying, so you clothes won't get scorched :) There's on site drop-off laundry service if you want to go that route, so that person is there to help with any questions for the machine uses, etc. She even brought us the TV remote so we could watch what we wanted on one of the 3 TV's while sitting in nice rocking chairs. We were in and out with 2 gigantic loads of laundry -washed and dried- within 45 minutes (25 mins on the quick wash cycle and 21 mins in the dryer). We considered going to another laundromat b/c they had beer, food and cool vibe. But, the reviews were mediocre on the number of washers and dryers, and many said their clothes took forever to dry at that other place. We are so glad that we opted for Fiesta Laundry! If doing your laundry can be a great experience, this was! Oh! We got change from the local Ingles grocery nearby, but it's not necessary--as they have 3 large cash to coin machines right inside, along with laundry detergent machines. read more

So I am a total fan of Fiesta and have been coming here since moving to Asheville in January. I love this place. I had an incident last friday night the 7th of September that caused me some alarm. I had come in later in the evening but well before the last wash at 9:30. I was doing my laundry, following protocol and was getting things done that needed to be done. I remember that at about 9 oclock the light that said open was turned off and that the doors were fixed to keep people out. At this time people were coming and going trying to get their laundry and to get their clothes from the dryers. This was a huge problem as people were stuck outside or inside depending on where they happened to be at that point and time. I was able to get all of my things completed but during the drying time the worker touched my personal items to move them to another location when cleaning the tables which upset me that she would do that. Then as I was leaving I figured that she was making up for things because she held the door open for me to carry my things to my car. I got to my car was closing the trunk and looked up and the lights were off. I got into my car and looked at the time and it was barely 10:30. I remember looking in the window and seeing people's clothes still in the dryer that were in not that long prior to check on their laundry. I felt concerned that their laundry was going to be held hostage until the morning. I remember thinking that I would be very upset if this had happened to me. I will definately be more mindful of when I return so that if she is working then I will probably come back when she is not present because I don't want my laundry to be held hostage when I run to Wendy's for a frosty or something to drink. read more

It is all the positives that everyone writes, but be careful to look in the dryer before you put your clothes in. For the first time in all the years I have traveled and used laundry mats, my bedsheet (and luckily it was just my bed sheet and not clothes) had two very large stains after drying them. read more

Add another area of expertise to Fiesta. They washed and dried 6 Marmot Trestle poly-fill sleeping bags for me at a super price, way cheaper than if I had done them on my own. They're clean, they smell great, they even zipped them up for me. Jessica was very helpful and friendly. There ought to be a Jessica fan club. I have six more Trestles and they will be at Fiesta after my next trip! read more

I was in fiesta over the weekend and I have to say I was very impressed. It was Saturday and the laundry attendant was very busy. But everytime she came onto the floor she had a smile on her face and was helpful to anyone who needed it. She never looked overwhelmed at all. If she was stressed out she sure didnt show it even when a rude customer started to scream at her and act like a total jerk she kept her calm and asked him to please stop screaming when she continued to try to help him he wasn't at all calming down she simply looked at him and said and I quote (I remember cause I thought to myself I need to start saying that at my job) "when the cussing starts the conversation ends". Then she gave him a refund and asked him to leave which he refused to do until his clothes were dry. I couldn't believe the restraint and gracefulness of her reaction most people would of bern freaking out. This is the second time I have been in there when a customer has been being rude to this attendant and everytime she show extreem maturity. I dont know her name but I figured I would give her props on her professionalism. I love this laundry mat and hope it stays in asheville forever. read more

If you have to spend time in a laundry mat, this is the place. The machines are well kept, the customer service is sweet, and the free coffee and wifi is a wonderful bonus. They have Rocking chairs to relax, which is wonderful, but there are round tables to sit in if your doing homework or eating lunch while your waiting. Plenty of folding tables and machines to go around. The driers are fast so you don't get Nickle/dimed while trying to get your clothes dry like at a lot of places. read more

I must say I was impressed.. Fiesta Laundry was clean, bright and there were always families around. I used this spot exclusively while staying in Asheville for the semester and I never felt out of place or unsafe here. There is always an attendant and they have a Credit/ Debit card cash service if you ever forget your change! All of the machines were clean inside and out, clean restrooms and plenty of space to sit off without being elbow-to-elbow with someone. The facility appears to be relatively new and they have plenty of metal laundry carts and folding tables to work off. Great atmosphere for travelers, college students (like me) and even local residents. Absolutely awesome! They are even open until 11! read more

Writing as a UNCA student, Fiesta offers the perfect laundromat experience! Free tea and coffee, plenty of quality machines and a very considerate staff has kept me returning for nearly a year now. The staff has repeatedly helped me out whether it's clearing room in their fridge for groceries I left in the car or reminding me that I left a bag of quarters atop a dryer, the staff has been very thoughtful whenever I visit. Fiesta also features large, sharp televisions which I don't personally go for to but if tv's your thing, you can cozy up in a rocking chair and enjoy the game! I have been going to fiesta laundry for a long time now and I usually get there after work at around the 9:30 ish time the last load can go in. I always get out of there earlier than their closing time. There is one attendant who is always so kind, but I went tonight and got there at 9:25 and an attendant I have not seen before tells me I cannot do my laundry, she comes outside to tell me this because I was in the parking lot for 10 minutes prior on an important call. I told her I usually get out before they close and all she said was, 'sorry'. I was furious, I never had this experience there and I asked her who her manager was and she said she was it. I asked her who the owner was and she walked away from me. I called her back to get the owners information and it was like pulling teeth to get her to tell me his name and when he would be there. I had to travel 18 miles to the next open laundromat. She was so rude, didn't even care. I will never go back there again, they don't care about my business, I don't care about them. read more

2 years ago when I started doing my laundry here the place was kept clean and everything (washers, dryers, tv remotes, etc.) worked excellently. Recently things have gone down hill fast. One of the washing machines I used left portions of my bedspread soaking wet even though I paid extra for the extraction function. I put it in a dryer by itself, on high for less than 20 minutes...it melted my bedspread!!! I then started checking my other dryer loads and found those machines running noticeably running hotter than has been normal for 2 years. I complained to the only attendant on site - although she was very nice and attempted to contact ANY manager, assistant manager, and owner...no one was responding. I left my name and contact information with her. Several hours later I heard back from an assistant manager who stated she was sorry, that there was nothing they could do, and that there are signs posted that they are not responsible for the damage. Saying I'm sorry does not solve the issue, stating you can't do something when clearly you are choosing not to do something...needless to say I can not longer trust their machines to care for my belongings and clearly they do not care about losing a long time customer. read more

I moved to Asheville about six months ago, since then Fiesta Laundries have been my favorite place to do my laundry. It took me a while to write this review because I was very upset about this issue. This was on a week day, a Hispanic guy was doing his laundry and the machine broke down on him. He told the attendant (a white skinny woman, blond) the best he could (since his English was not too good) about the machine. She stopped the machine and offered to refund his money. This guy took his clothes out of the machine to put them in another machine while she was getting the money, and when she came back the floor was wet because of the wet clothes. In that moment she started yelling at him because he got the floor wet, she was really angry at him. The poor guy was shocked of her reaction and you could tell he was even scared of her reaction. I wanted to tell her something but I got scared too, she was really mad at him and she shouldn't have screamed at him. I love this laundry but I will never go back when that blond, skinny lady there. The sad part is that it is not the first time she does that, she even demanded a tip from a customer (this time American). That is not the way customers are to be treated, we pay her check!!. read more
