The food was mediocre at best, and I wouldn't be leaving this review if after leaving from eating here- my partner got a cold sore and I got a bad sore throat. (We barely ever go out to eat any more so we knew what it was from immediately) I noticed one of the utensils still had some crust/food on it so I didn't use that one but thought the other one would be fine because I couldn't -see- anything wrong with it but no. Their dishes are not clean here. The customer service was good but that's about it. Without this issue alone, the food was honestly about 4/10. Hard pass. Visiting Fergus Falls this week, I stopped in for dinner based on a coworker suggestion. The interior was pleasant, cheery folks happily ordering and enjoying their menu selections. The food...I ordered a tamale and chili rellano with rice and beans. Aside from missing some chili spice, my preference, the food was excellent and the beer was ice cold. If I had a critique, it's minor. The chips were fine but the salsa could have used a tweak and warm corn tortillas would have been like we a welcome hug from abuelita. read more

The food has been very good, but very slow and inattentive service. I've been here five times, every single time I've had to eventually get up and ask for a refill or the check or something else that was needed because they won't come back and check if you need anything for 15-20 minutes. read more

Stopped in while we were in town racing and had the Philly cheesesteak burrito which was spot on.. The others in the group loved there food as well. Very clean place. After a long morning of aimless loitering, in the Fergus Falls area, we stopped by for a quick snack. This place came recommended by another business that we stopped by earlier in the day. We were promptly seated and our drinks and the fresh chips and salsa arrived in no time. We ordered a quesadilla as we weren't feeling like having a full dish each. Worked out perfectly. Visited with a party of 9. Been here before and not much has changed. Made the mistake of getting margaritas by the pitcher. Bottled premix is weak and super sweet. Couldn't get the ice out of the pitcher or the stickiness off my teeth. Staff is courteous but not enthusiastic and a tad slow. Atmosphere pretty boring. Corporate Chi Chi's look and a never ending monotonous mariachi music track playing in the background. Sautéed fresh vegetables are in season and good, with marinated meats and shrimp. Rest tastes canned and bland. Massive menu selection but most items are a rehash of the same ingredients. Overall lacking taste and variety but you get large portions CHEAP, which is the successful business model in Fergus Falls I guess. read more

Love this place--fast service for dine in and carry out. Food is well seasoned and spiced. Steak fajitas with jalapenos are in my regular dining rotation--table side presentation is a bonus. Seafood Molcajete is impressive and tasty. Have not yet found the fortitude to take on the Molcajete Montezuma, but will summon the courage one day--it is enormous. I was really surprised at how good their food is! I gave 3 stars because I thought the salsa was really lacking seasoning...lime, cilantro, salt, garlic...it was just very bland. This place is amazing. This is my favorite place to go in Fergus Falls. The staff is wonderful and always treats you well. The food is fantastic: full of flavor and their Stone Meal choices are delicious. You cannot go wrong stopping in here for just 2 of you or an entire party. The prices are great and don't forget to try their superb Mango or Peach or Strawberry Margaritas( my favorites). The decor was really beautiful. I am Mexican, so wanted to find out how authentic the food is. I ordered some beer & received the bottle, but no glass. For lunch, I ordered the taco, enchilada, and refried beans. The tacos were pretty good, as were the refried beans. I did not care for the enchiladas. I know how to make authentic enchiladas but I did not like the enchilada sauce they used. My husband ordered coffee, and it was cold. It was promptly reheated by staff. Yesterday was the first time that I went and I already went again to day. I ordered the Yucatan and it is fabulous. A generous serving of grilled shrimp and fish (tilapia I believe). It also has yellow and red grilled bell peppers and zucchini. It has just the right amount of seasoning too. The Spanish rice is generous and flavorful. In town to visit family, and I confess I did not expect much from a Mexican place in Fergus. I was so wrong! The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained, service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had four different entrees and each was outstanding. Personally I had the Pollo Bravo, and was very happy. The chicken was nicely seasoned, grilled perfectly, and the shrimp were a nice size and also cooked exactly right. There was a nice spice level from the jalapeños and it was just a great plate of food. The chicken enchiladas suizas were also a hit and we're very, very good. We all felt like the food was of excellent quality, and very reasonably priced. read more
