I never received a retainer request that he said was sent in December. It could have gone to spam since it was from a third party. I even sent a follow up email to Mr. Schwartz in January in regards to payment. He did not respond. One year later after I left a one star review against his business on google, he sends a follow up asking me to remove the review and that he failed to follow up with me. I rejected his offer to work with me because I did not want someone who waited a year to follow up with me to work on my issues. He claimed I rejected his offer to work with me because I didn't want to pay the fee. I did not get any retainer request again so there was no rejection of the retainer fee. I just didn't want to work with someone who left me hanging for a whole year with no response. That is not professional at all.

But he didn't even mention it, and on top of that he charged me $1200 to absolutely NOTHING, and I'm not exaggerating. He was all about the money he could take in from a grieving family. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend him for steering families grieving from loss as he will not recuse himself from any money-making scheme. He took advantage of us, and I still want my security deposit back as he did Nothing. He's a trial attorney, but he didn't disclose that when he took us on as a client.
