As I'm not getting any younger, I reached out to my uncle, who is an attorney in another specialty, to seek a referral for writing my last will and other related legal documents. My uncle worked with David Bale decades ago and could attest to how thoughtful and thorough he was. This certainly proved to be the case. I made first contact via his website and received a prompt response including details about the price, process and expectations. His responsiveness was impeccable from start to finish. In those early emails he provided me with all the materials I needed to be prepared for our first meeting. I greatly appreciated this because when you pay by the hour, time is essentially money. During our first meeting he gently asked informed questions to ensure that he was accurately capturing my intentions. When applicable, he presented several options for me to choose what best suited my needs. After the meeting Mr. Bale drafted all of the necessary documents and emailed them to me for proofing and updating. This was a seamless and efficient process that I feel also saved time and money. Once documents were reviewed, we set our final meeting which included signing, notary services and receipt of official documents & copies thereof. All documents were also provided to me electronically as well. I was quoted $750 for the entire process and we stayed on target. He was kind and made an effort to get to know me in effort to help me make more informed decisions.

I am going to make sure i will review in the most unbiased and descriptive way of all kind of services and people i come across to give a clearer picture to someone who comes after me. Moving on to the main topic, Mr bale was contacted for legal counsel on home closing/real estate. Many attorneys i spoke to required a paid consultation to explain my issue whereas Mr David Bale made sure he had a brief conversation firstly by emails and a short call to understand my requirement of legal counsel totally free. This opens up a window to communicate if you really need a counsel or it is too early or late. Based on his genuine suggestions and advices during our short call i can tell how knowledgeable and experienced he is and i am pretty sure he has dealt with varied real estate related legal situations. In terms of fees, they were reasonable and i think they are standard across all columbus. It is a hard decision to pick an attorney from a plethora of choices on the internet, and i hope my review helps somebody.

I had been dreading this task for the usual reasons (don't want to think about dying, worried about family dissension, etc.), but Mr. Vinson supplied ample verve, sensitivity, and good humor, along with exceptional professional expertise, to make the process as pain-free as it could possibly be. At the outset, Susan and I had no clear idea of what we were doing or even what we actually wanted to accomplish. But Mr. Vinson's insightful questions, laying out of options, thorough discussion of pros and cons, demystification of probate law and estate planning, and exploration of alternative outcomes clarified for us the different choices we might make and the possible outcomes of those choices. Ably assisted by his partner/Office Manager/spouse, Mr. Vinson prepared necessary documents for us along with clear instructions on how to proceed going forward. He also made an offer (still open) to meet individually with any of our seven children in case they need help understanding the structure of the Trust and their place in the arrangements. I'll mention parenthetically that the whole effort was, to my mind, surprisingly affordable. In short, working with Mr. Vinson and his Office has provided my wife and me with great peace of mind and the sense that we have provided for our children and grandchildren as best we can. Review of Mitchell Moreland - Unethical, Dismissive, and Part of the Problem…read more I consulted Mitchell Moreland regarding serious ethical violations and potential malpractice by my former attorney. Instead of receiving legitimate legal advice, I was met with dismissiveness, unprofessionalism, and shocking admissions about how lawyers protect each other from accountability. Major Issues with His Conduct: Dismissed Clear Evidence of Misconduct Despite providing emails and documentation proving unethical behavior by my prior lawyer, Moreland brushed it off as "normal" and claimed nothing was wrong. He admitted lawyers cover for each other, saying, "Your evidence doesn't matter-- Discouraged Reporting to Disciplinary Counsel He lied about the disciplinary process, claiming: *"They'll only look at 1-3 things and ignore the rest."* His attitude was, "Don't bother, nothing will happen." Laughed at Serious Ethical Violations When shown proof that my former attorney admitted judicial bias against immigrants in writing, Moreland laughed, as if amused by the carelessness of leaving evidence. His reaction suggested this is just a game among lawyers--who can exploit clients without getting caught. Admitted to Manipulating the System He boasted, "We do this all the time--we know how to avoid consequences." He even pressures clients to waive their rights, confirming a pattern of misconduct. Hypocritical Given His Own Disciplinary Record After the consultation, I discovered Moreland has been disciplined multiple times--explaining why he downplays ethics violations. His advice wasn't legal guidance--it was damage control for his profession's corruption. Final Verdict: Complicit, Unethical, and Untrustworthy Mitchell Moreland is not a lawyer you can trust if you've been wronged by another attorney. He protects his peers over clients, mocks serious ethical breaches, and actively discourages accountability. If you want real justice, avoid him at all costs--he's part of the problem. I have recorded our conversation. Zack

This person has you rehash everything you've outlined twice previously for the firm: once during an initial 15 min call outlining your situation with a different non-lawyer and again via an extensive online questionnaire providing facts & details of your situation. We walked into the "consultation" expecting that an attorney had reviewed our paperwork previous to the appointment and the "client navigator" would share the broad stroke strategy the attorney had conceived. What we got was that neither Cayce nor an attorney had read anything I had provided previously. It was literally, "So tell me about your situation." Huh? A consultation is defined as a conference at which advice is given or views are exchanged; a meeting to discuss the treatment of a case. How can that be achieved when one party hasn't even read about the case at hand? For a law firm to be inaccurate with it's language is enormous cause for concern. Additionally, Cayce was late to the 9:00am appointment. My father opened the office door for her yet when she came into the meeting room, she lied about her delay saying she was conferring with an attorney. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. Zero value in this offering. Save yourself some time and go to an attorney that won't bury you in "their procedure" and actually give you some insights that will help you determine if they can help your case or not.
