Always a great experience, the staff are welcoming, knowelegable and over all provide great service.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Having to deal with a 401k Power of Attorney. Submitted the documents and was told it would be 3-5 business days to process and even have an email showing it. Called Customer Service and they didnt care and told me the process was up to 4 weeks! This isn't using the funds for my benefit its for someone else. No one takes accountability - and no one is willing to do anything to help or make up for the misinformation besides they could put a note that I was requesting it to be expedited despite the fact that I have to be the one calling in order to get any communication whatsoever. When I talked with a manager all they said was to call back in in a few days to see if there was any progress - again asking me to follow up! No accountability whatsoever. What an awful company experience. read more

I call them up repeatedly and they put me on hold. They won't update my phone number so I can use their website and transfer out my hostage retirement account. read more

I was scammed and as a result Fidelity locked up all my money for days (so far) and customer service was dismissive and completely unhelpful and can't even tell me when they can give me access to my money again. I've been trying for days to get access and now on Friday they tell me to call back Monday morning at 8:30 and see if they can help. My bank account is empty because they've put me off for days and I can't transfer money from my Fidelity account and I can't access any funds in my Fidelity account. Now they say everyone went home for the weekend. I spoke with a supervisor (Valerie) and she was completely dismissive. I'm retired living off of my savings which is at Fidelity, and they won't let me access it. I have no money left at my bank (because I was at the point that I needed to transfer from Fidelity to my bank earlier this week), and they've been rude, dismissive and don't seem to care. Now I don't know what to do, and they say they have no time frame yet. How is this OK!! I've spoken with at least 3 people and they offer no hope of getting access to my money in any time frame. Don't keep all your money with Fidelity. Keep half of it at least somewhere else. They don't care and and may lock all your money down for unknown periods of time. read more

Fidelity are criminals!! my 81 year old father has a pension from his previous employer that is now managed by Fidelity and I have been trying to get his money for over a YEAR and they keep pushing back the date the check will go out! they lie! They have kept his money, I would assume, so they can keep using it for investments. I would NEVER trust them with your money!! read more

I'm am so disappointed in Fidelity Salt Lake Branch. Called and asked if they would do a medallion stamp so I can move some funds and they asked me if I had an account with Fidelity and I do have an account since 2017, so they asked if I was moving the funds to Fidelity and I said no, they said ok come on in and will we do that for you. When I arrived the next day, they told they would't do it because I wasn't transfering the funds to Fidelity, so they wanted a cut of the money. That to me is crooked business. My credit union was happy to take care of me and didn't ask for a cut of my money.Never going to recommend anyone to Fidelity. read more

I agree totally with Michael. Recommend you interview others before investing with these guys, especially if you want them to manage your portfolio. There is no sense of urgency...Fidelity just coasts along without a clue. I should just can Fidelity and take my portfolio elsewhere. I have been with them for over 15 years and they have done little to enhance my portfolio. They seldom react to the changes in the market. They have managed to reduce my portfolio value by 25% in the past month. Obviously the team is asleep at the switch. My investment strategy was 60% stocks and 40% bonds, hardly aggressive, and they still managed to find ways to diminish the value of my portfolio. They make sure to keep collecting their fees though. Fidelity's philosophy is "We are going to stay the course". This course does not work during a pandemic with a depression in the future. Regards, Speedy read more

I really like this place. Come in here "green" and they will help you make GREEN$! Fidelity is top notch when it comes to online trading, trading from your phone, online research and ideas for investing. But they are so much more--at the Fidelity branch on South Temple, investing classes are offered and you can meet with an advisor who will help you set up an account, set up funding for it and if you want, manage it. You never have to call customer service because you can just drive down to the branch--how easy is that? Everyone who works here is seriously professional and respectful. No attitude. So you don't know your ass from your elbow with your finances and only make 17K a year? Nobody is going to treat you like you don't matter here. To add to thetop notch vibe, there is a nice lobby area with snacks and coffee, newspapers and CNBC on the TV! In comparison to TD Ameritrade, there is no comparison....Fidelity all the way. read more

I just canned Fidelity and took my portfolio elsewhere. I was with them for over four years and they did little to enhance my portfolio. Always slow to react to the changes in the market, they managed to reduce portfolio value by 16% in the past three months. Obviously asleep at the switch. My investment strategy was far from aggressive and they still managed to find ways to diminish the value of my portfolio. To use a sports metaphor, these guys knock in four runs and then let in six. Who needs that? Like i am paying for the Fidelity sponsorship at Red Butte Garden. To be fair I will post back in 90 days and advise how the new guys did. Maybe these "financial advisors" are all the same. Will keep you posted. that_michael read more
