However, when I tried to share details about my situation, they dismissed me. My ex-husband physically abused me for 3 years, including choking me, and once came after me with a rifle. He was apprehended by the police and sent to LA. During mediation, I was not allowed to discuss the details of my situation and they tried to pressure me to sign the papers without consideration for fairness. After leaving him, I informed my ex-partner that I was consulting with a lawyer (even though I wasn't) and he started paying me $1,400.00 per month. This was before involving C4, and I later found out that he was earning much much more than I had originally thought. During a meeting, C4 presented me with a document three times and pressured me to sign it. They claimed that $797.00 a month in alimony was fair, even though he was already paying me $1,400.00 a month without a fight. They even attempted to intimidate me My ex-husband accidentally called me while extremely drunk and revealed that Tony advised him to low-ball me, expecting me to negotiate for a higher amount. I recorded the conversation, but I was unaware of the "money game" and that I was supposed to negotiate, despite him being informed by you. When I refused to sign the document, you told me it was "fair" and tried to pressure me into signing it. I'm glad I didn't sign anything. Mediation, seriously? You thought everything was settled and was proud of yourselves for filing paperwork with the court without notifying me. Y'all believed it was too late to correct the issue after seven months. However, the judge did not sign off on the alimony as y'all had anticipated. Later, he called me drunk and suggested that I file for disability. He later emailed me what he claimed was disability paperwork, but it actually turned out to be the divorce papers with a lot of information. I found a lawyer who informed me that we could only fix the alimony because C4, Tony, and Crystal had submitted ZERO alimony. The judge suspected that something was amiss and left the case open for a year to allow me to return and amend the paperwork. He had assumed that the judge had signed off on everything. My lawyer told me we had only five months left to fix the issue. C4 failed to claim any assets, including a Ford Focus and a 41-foot custom-made Montana fifth wheel that he lived in. Three days after I hired a lawyer, he was served with the relevant legal papers. we reopened it. After a long wait, I finally got access to police reports, tax records, bank accounts, a lot of information. Seeing all of this was both satisfying and startling. Thanks to his NEW legal representation, the case progressed rather swiftly. In the end, we agreed to a settlement that included $1,500 and health insurance coverage. I hopes that Tony and Crystal will not do this to anyone else. It was unfair to side with the person who had the checkbook and not inform me that I required my own legal representation. Tony, Crystal, How do you sleep at night? My advice is to document everything, seek legal counsel if you suspect something is wrong, and schedule free consultations with multiple lawyers. Take notes and record their advice for future reference. My advice honestly is to RUN, thier not trust worthy!
